Test

We got a lot of stares on our way to the hall, finally we made it to the hall

"Finally, I knew we would attract girls but...that much, I must say, I didn't hate it" Dean said

"Yeah, it was pretty nice, Lexi, why didn't you even smile?" Chris asked

I stopped on my tracks, turned around and stared at him, then turned back around and kept walking.

"Gosh, I felt my heart stop" Dean said

"Yeah, a second there I saw myself die, scary" Chris said. I didn't pay attention to them and got to a free seat in the hall, coincidentally there were 2 free seats beside me and Dean and Chris took those seats. Once we were seated, the teacher started her speech.

"Hi children, you can call me Ms. Amanda, welcome to the academy, here you would learn about the elements, what they can do and what they can't do and after two years, you would awaken then you would be separated into different classes specialized in the element you awaken. I called you here today, because there are those who might awaken before time, so we are here to identify them, they would still learn with you guys until the awakening ceremony though, let's begin, I'll call your names and you would come up here to check if you are one of them" she said

"Jason"

"Here" I looked towards the voice and saw a boy a little bit shorter than me, with gelled black hair and black eyes, he had an arrogant look on his face, all in all, he is a perfect description of an arrogant young master. He walked to the front and made an arrogant face to the rest of the class before facing Ms. Amanda.

"Place your hand on this orb and wait" He placed his hand on it and waited

"Just wait, I'll awaken now and also awaken the strongest element. You still have the chance to become my lackey" of course he didn't forget to make a comment. After some seconds, the orb shone a brilliant red light and a number appeared above it.

"Fire element, number 5, that's a good one, you should know that the highest number for an element is 10 and he is already halfway through".

"Haha, you see, I'm already the strongest in this class, I bet, no one can pass me, that is if you actually awaken, haha" ignoring his comment, the teacher continued

"Lexi" I got up and walked to the front and placed my hand on the orb without waiting for her to say so, after a while it glowed very bright and showed a dark blue color.

"Lexi, lightning element" The moment she said it, the class became noisy

"What?, lightning?"

"I thought it was hard to get it"

"He must be a genius"

"Quiet down class" the teacher said and it immediately became quiet.

"Lightning element, number what?, n-number 10"

"What? Isn't that the highest?"

"He really is a genius"

"He is so handsome"

I heard different words of praises from the class, but it didn't phase me. I walked back to my seat and sat down ignoring all the gazes around me.

"Wow, you're powerful" Chris said

"I suddenly feel insignificant" Dean said. I just ignored them.

"The next part of this test is to see your power level, you should be able to perform a few skills, all those who awakened should come out here"

There was a total of 5 people, who awakened. We gathered at the front and waited.

"I'll call out a skill and you would try to make it, OK, let's begin"

We were taken to a training room in the academy, including the others, for learning purposes, Ms. Amanda said.

"Jason, try making a flame circle" she said pointing towards a training dummy.

"Flame circle" Jason said while creating a circle of flames "Go" he said moving his hand forward and the circle sped to the dummy and burnt it.

"Good, now Molly, make a water bomb"

Molly calmly walked to the front and held her hand out.

"Water bomb, Go"

Boom

The bomb exploded on contact and the top half of the dummy is now nonexistent.

"Good, Chris, make an earth spike"

"Earth spike, Go" the spike impaled the dummy through the heart

"Good, Dean, make a wind blade"

He created a wind blade and it slashed the dummy in half.

"Lexi, create the smallest lightning bolt"

I walked to the front and looked at the dummy.

"Lexi, a lightning bolt"

"Ms. Amanda, don't waste your time, he can't make it" Jason said with a mocking tone. I turned around and walked towards the back, but didn't forget to drag the teacher with me.

"Lexi, what are you doi-"

Boom

She didn't get the chance to finish speaking when a lightning bolt struck the dummy. We waited for the dust to clear first, the sight shocked them. The dummy as well as the ones beside it were completely obliterated leaving a big charred floor behind.

"W-was that the smallest bolt you could create?" Ms. Amanda asked as she looked at me, I looked at her and nodded, her eyes widened in shock as she kept staring at the floor.

"Okay, t-that's all for today, you can go back to your rooms, lessons would begin tomorrow" she said and we all left, back to our rooms.

On the way to our room, Jason and his lackeys stopped us.

"What do you want Jason?" Dean asked

"Nothing, just to warn you guys, to keep a low key, cause if you anger me, hm, you know who my dad is" he said looking all cocky

"Would you mind telling us who your dad is?"Chris asked

"You, my dad is the Red devil, if you don't know, he is an S ranked adventurer" he said with his nose pointing towards the sky

"So? I still don't get it. Move out of the way" Dean said

Jason got angry and threw a punch at dean. Before the punch could hit him, I grabbed the hand and stared right into Jason's eyes while squeezing his hand.

Crack

"Aahh, let go you bastard!" I let go of his hand and grabbed his shoulder, I pushed him out of the way and kept walking towards my room. I got in and locked the door to my room.
