Poor Old Man

'Thank god for the 3 years auto pilot' is the only thing I can think of. As you can imagine being a child sucks, and I want nothing to do with it so much so I want to go back to my dimension and just grow up there. This is especially true since the orphanage matron is a complete bitch.

If you haven't figured it out yet I'm in Naruto… as Naruto. I mean how I was supposed to know I needed to set who I am to be born as before the jump.

I can't find it in me to disagree.

My original plan was to reincarnate as Madera and then follow cannon till black Zetsu comes to meet me and I devour the bastard. Afterwards I would go around the world collecting bloodlines and bijuu to devour. Then continue to live as a Shinobi god till Tsunade and then get her as a member of my har-*cough* pantheon.

'I get it, ok, I freakin get it' I reply through my thoughts. 'But what's done is done and we need to figure out the next step'

[*sigh* I gathered every book in this world, millions, but most aren't related to Ninjas at all] Solo said in resignation

'Great I need you to create several books for me

A book about chakra theory

A book about chakra training and control

A book about taijutsu

A book about fuinjutsu

A book about ninja skills, like stealth and infiltration

And lastly one book for each element and bloodline including none-elemental ninjutsu'

[Can do, but it will take me a day to create the perfect books. There are thousands to go through]

'Great, while you do that I'm going to go blackmail an old man'

[You know, I worry about you sometimes]

'Meh' I shrugged 'talk to yourself long enough and you will find that sanity is overrated'

At the Hokage tower we can find the third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi smoking his pipe and doing his god damned paperwork. Some days he would wish for some excuse to stop doing it.

Today he gets his wish.

It started with the Anbu, the Special Forces equivalent of Ninja, dropping from the ceiling like puppets with their strings cut.

As a trained Shinobi, his first reaction was to take a combat stance and extend his senses to try and feel or understand what is happening. Then his office door opened.

He didn't know what to expect, but a child and Minato's at that, was not it.

"hey old man, sorry about the intrusion, they just wouldn't let me in to see you" said Naruto

Under any circumstance Sarutobi wouldn't be as afraid, but in this specific situation, he was very scared.

'did the child lose control? Did the seal fail? Is the Kyuubi free?' were the thoughts running through his head

Naruto then proceeds to casually enter the office and close the door behind him with a flick of his wrist at which point he noticed the Hokage's apprehensive look.

"Hey old man, take it easy, I am still me. It's just who I actually am that's different" Naruto said "let me explain…" what followed was a long and frustrating talk about Narutos current situation

*1st person pov*

"So, are you Naruto or Dante?" asked the Hokage

*sigh* "both" I reply "look old man what you're asking me is like me asking you are you Hiruzen Sarutobi or the third Hokage. I am Naruto and Dante"

"I get it, I get it" he doesn't get it "I also understand the multi-verse thingy" he doesn't understand it "what I want to know, is why tell me?"

I shrug "I don't want to worry you or the Anbu you have watching me" true to his experience, the only sign Sarutobi showed to the statement was a flicker in his heart beat "I will be training in my sub dimension and time passes faster there. So I may come out a few years older than now"

"Wait, wait, wait. What is a sub dimension?" the Hokage asks.

"It'd be easier to show you" I say and extend a hand towards him.

Once he grabs hold of it I say "ID create: empty" the reason I have to vocalize it is because in my dimension Gaia cannot interfere directly, so by vocalising it, it would count as a prayer and allows her power to create the ID. Here however, I did it because of habit.

It only takes an instant to enter the ID, and I notice Sarutobi going on alert instantly.

"Calm down, this is just a mirror world and there is only us here" I try to calm him down

"So this is a sub-Dimension? Doesn't look like much" he tries to casually take in the situation he is in

I shrug "I like it cause I can do this" I force push the wall on the side of the village towards it. It flies a mile or so before smashing on one of the buildings roofs "without having to worry"

'Ah, he's tensed up again'

[Dumbass]

"Don't worry old man, whatever happens here, stays here" I extend my hand towards him, at which he flinches "c'mon, I'll show you" I say, ignoring his laps in control.

He grabs my hand, and we're back in his office, unconscious shinobi and all, and most importantly the wall is still there.

He takes a second "ok Naruto, I believe you" he takes out his smoking pipe "now what do you need from me?"

I notice his breathing is somewhat shallow for a shinobi as I answer "well, not much really. I just want to be left alone" I say as I cast [force heal] towards him "maybe a place to stay"

He stiffens 'again' and asks "what did you do?"

"I'm a god, you're lucky I'm a benevolent one. I noticed your breath was shallow so I helped" I say looking bored

Hiruzen Sarutobi was never a man who would look a gift horse in the mouth simply nodded, still trying to wrap his head around the situation

"Well old man, it's been fun 'not' but I gotta find a place to stay"

"Wait Naruto" he calls me back "do you know who your parents are?"

"Yeah" I reply while pointing at my hair earning myself a chuckle from him

"Then I guess there is no need to hide it" he says as he goes towards a shelf and seemingly picks a scroll at random "this scroll contains your father's notes and the Uzumaki sealing scroll that is passed down from one generation to another" he hands me the scroll "in that scroll you will also find a key to the Uzumaki compound. Unfortunately your parents' house was destroyed during the Kyuubi attack" he then looks like he remembered something and then looks at me for a second "do you know how to unseal things from a scroll?"

"Yeah I got it don't worry" I say as I accept the scroll. I didn't have the heart to tell him I don't need it. And besides I am as much Naruto as Dante now, so it still means a lot "thanks old man" I say and exit the office

I hear behind me "Always Naruto. Always"
