His right hand touched her left upper arm, and then started to slide down to her wrist. "In case you haven't noticed.." he started to say. She had stiffened up, started from his initial touch. "I'm officially pursuing you." +++ All she wanted was a second chance in happiness. She had been divorced for two years now and has forgotten about the idea of finding another man. After that one fateful encounter, are they destined to be together forever? Is God of happiness finally bestowing this tiny spring water to both of them? +++ ps: I only write happy ending stories. This is 1v1, with a little drama here and there. But those drama only served a purpose to strengthen their relationship. Female lead here is not perfect at all. She is insecure, full of flaws and broken. Male lead is gorgeous and charming as usual. But somehow, they complete each other. Don't rush

As she entered the office lobby area, Shao Yan quickly approached Tina, the receptionist on duty for today.

"Tina, are they still in the meeting room?"

Tina, a girl in her twenties, had just joined the company a few months ago to do her internship while she was waiting for her university to begin. Shao Yan had talked to her a couple of times before and found that her bubbly personality to be similar to Qi Ling.

Tina was texting on her phone; and as her fingers flew all over the phone screen, she heard Shao Yan's hurried steps were approaching her desk and started to ask questions.

She lifted up her face, and saw the exasperated Shao Yan was looking intently at her.

"M-Miss Shao, your face is so flushed, are you alright?" Tina said as she quickly rose up from her chair and walked to the water dispenser on the side. She wanted to grab a glass of water for Shao Yan.
