Drunk

Luna was totally wasted, she was a terrible drinker, 2 glasses and she lost her mind completely .

Especially after what happened that morning, if she wasn't in this confused state she was never going to go clubbing with her friends when they asked her to join them at night.

' I really don't understand what he wants from me, why is he acting as if he is fragile and vulnerable, that even Olrath's voices are hurting him? And he said what! Help me to sleep, is he a kid ? ' 

She spent the whole day in her room just thinking about what Liam asked for when he came to her apartment this morning.

She couldn't remove him out of her head  because this time and unlike all the other times she reincarnated he was focusing on her, and not her sister Sira.

Joseph was drinking his fourth glass, but Rose went to the dance floor and started dancing to that loud music with some guy she just met .

' Yup, it is not a surprise for her to do something like this ' 

Maybe she didn't notice that she's not with Joseph or she did it on purpose to make him jealous, either way she succeeded  to put him on bad mood already .

There was only the three of them and the atmosphere was not that good either, Joseph was looking at Rose as if he was going to kill her , while she was enjoying seducing the guy who was dancing with her.

' Here we go again, I just wish that I could get transported to my chamber to sleep peacefully'. 

Luna started mumbling about going back home because she kept thinking about what Liam said to her .

' Being outside with these two only made me think about him more ' 

Liam needed to sleep and she had to provide that to him or she was going to die.

' it is not like I am not used to dying at this point, but this never happened, what is going on with the story?

If living with a demon was that hard why in hell he did a contract with him '.

Demons always take advantage of people when they lose hope and make them do desperate things in order to give them a last chance to make things right.

That's what she couldn't understand, giving your soul in order to achieve something is leading the person into slavery, loosing freedom is the price and it was a very expensive one .

' I would never do something like that ' 

Joseph kept drinking to stay calm to Rose's provocation,  but Luna stood drunken and waved to him wanting to leave but suddenly he grabbed her hand and stopped her from leaving and said :"Stay for a little bit ".

' What is he doing ?'

She wiped her eyes and said : "I need to be home now !"

"Don't leave! Please Isa" Joseph begged. 

At that moment, something that she never imagined happened to her, Joseph  was very clingy, so he hugged  tightly to her to stop her from leaving .She started moving wanting to go  and to break that hug in the first place .

She was not comfortable with what he did, because he never did that before.

Unfortunately, Rose saw what happened between them so she left the dance floor angry and approached them saying : "What's happening here !"

Luna  retreated as she felt threatened by her friend but Joseph : "We were just talking !"

"And hugging !" Rose yelled at her .

"I promise you nothing happened Rose, he is drunk and off balance, he almost fell".

Luna said to explain the situation to her best friend but Rose yelled at them saying : "Isa, are you still in love with my boyfriend ?"

Joseph was very surprised but Luna felt like she was out of breath, she managed to hide ISa's feelings all those lives but Rose was determined to break her after seeing that scene .

This time a lot of things changed ..

She couldn't even explain to her what happened, even though she didn't know what happened !

Why was Joseph treating her like that ..

It was not like him at all .

Luna shed a lot of tears because Rose hurted her on purpose, and when everything was too hard to handle she said :"You know me, I will never do something to hurt you Rose, I told you he is drunk but you didn't believe me, I am leaving now .Thank you for this horrible night" .

As she stepped away from her friends she hit a person's chest so she fell on the ground and only stood after his help to find that he was no other than Liam .

His features were too furious as he held her captive between his arms :"I told you ..I need to sleep but here you are drinking with that smart ass, don't you value your life "

"I can't  fight  with you right now " She said with a very low voice .

"You have to be punished for making me come here to find you" Liam was whispering into her ears right now .

Luna clenched his arms then closed her eyes because she was  so tired and whispered as she got closer to him :" I want to go home !"

That was the last thing she said before falling asleep between his strong arms .

What broke her heart was her best friend's acting like she didn't know her at all…

' I don't even see him that way, maybe ISa was in love with him but I am not '

These changes were making her go crazy ..

Isa loved Joseph a lot of years ago but the strength to tell him was the missing thing from the equation .

She only wanted to support him when she thought of how hard a relationship with him would be .

He was her best friend's boyfriend and she was always aware of that, and for Rose to act that way when she was already flirting with another guy made her very sick .

"Let's take you home, Isa" Liam whispered.
