5 Chapter 5: Cultivation Book

Argon continued, as he went further into the cave, the wolves he saw were also getting stronger. He saw some fifth-layer wolves, standing at a height of one meter. The first-layer and second-layer wolves he had seen earlier were the same size as ordinary wolves in his past life. However, these fifth-layer wolves were half his height.

And this was only the fifth stage of the wolves. Argon looked forward to encountering the even more powerful sixth-layer and seventh-layer body-tempering wolves.

After some time, Argon arrived at the end of the cave, which opened up into a spacious area.

In the distance, he spotted three large wolves bowing before him. They were the last three remaining wolves. The two sixth-layer wolves stood at a height of 1.4 meters, while the remaining seventh-layer wolf was 1.6 meters tall, almost as tall as Argon himself. It was a striking sight to behold.

"System, where is the hidden exit?" Argon asked, searching for a way to the other side but unable to locate it. Shortly after, he received an emotionless mechanical voice in his mind.

[After killing the dungeon leader, a teleportation array will emerge, transporting anyone to the other side.]

"Okay, it's good to know I can ask you about things now," Argon replied. Exploring blindly was proving to be quite challenging for him.

After some time, he teleported out of the dungeon. Yes, he had the ability to teleport anywhere inside the dungeon. Furthermore, he attempted to communicate with the seventh-layer wolf. However, it was still the same; it couldn't understand him.

As soon as he exited the dungeon, a warning sign popped up in front of him.

[Warning: There are humans in the vicinity of the dungeon. Do you want to open the dungeon now?]

"Ohh... Well, not now. I still need to buy a drop item."

Argon then opened the item section of the shop and, as usual, took away all the expensive items, leaving behind the thirty soul coin infinite drop item.

In the shop, there were weapons, martial skills, cultivation scrolls, and much more. Argon filtered out everything except the cultivation books.

Having read cultivation novels numerous times, he knew that possessing good cultivation exercises would help him reach a higher realm.

After some time, he decided on a cultivation scroll called "King Kong's Body Cultivation Book," which could help him achieve the Opening Qi realm. This cultivation scroll was at the bottom and was the only one priced at thirty soul coins.

"I'm done here. I should go out and see who's outside." Argon then teleported outside the dungeon.

One hour earlier,

Three figures traversed the forest silently, the atmosphere eerily quiet. They had been running at full speed for ten minutes now, and what unnerved them was the absence of any beasts.

After some time, the trio finally stumbled upon something.
