"The time has finally come."

It's been a few days since I transmigrated as an extra in a certain novel.

I'm about to confess to one of the heroines, get rejected, and fulfill my first and last mission as an extra.

A few days ago when I woke up, I found myself transmigrated as Zero Eclair a mob character.

Although I belong to the same class as the protagonist and the other main cast, apart from this confession, I haven't had a single interaction with any of them, and I won't appear in the story after this.

"…It's about time." I murmured to myself as I glanced down at my wrist watch ID.

I just put the love letter on top of her desk a while ago.

A love letter in this day and age? Some might wonder, but please direct those opinions to the author, not me. I'm just following the script. All that's left is to confess and get rejected, then my role will be completely over.

After waiting behind the Academy for a few minutes, I suddenly hear footsteps.

The footsteps slowly approach.

And then the heroine I called out to appears.

"Huh?" But she didn't appear.

"…Sorry for keeping you waiting." To my surprise, the one who appeared was…Alyssa Walker.

She faced me with her neatly arranged sky blue hair and baby blue eyes, coupled with flawless skin.

She's the transcendent beauty, who later becomes an SSS- Rank mage, one of the heroines of this story, Alyssa Walker.

But…she wasn't the one I called out to.

The one I was planning to confess to was the other heroine, Sarah Everglow. Why is Allyssa here…?

"…So, about the confession's response…" Instead of admitting my mistake I decided to just go through with it.

"I'm sorry. We haven't even talked before and I don't know anything about you…"

And then, Alyssa leaves the area behind the Academy, leaving me to grasp the reality of being rejected.

"Hmm, Could this be…"

Although the person was different, I suppose I've fulfilled the role of confessing to a heroine and getting rejected…or so I can say.

"Well, for now, let's just say it's all good."

There shouldn't be any problems…probably.

Although it was a bit embarrassing, I felt relieved now that my role was over.

From now on I'll quietly enjoy my peaceful school life.

Staring at the constantly changing scenery before me, I sank into deep thought.

The world here is called Edolas which is constantly being invaded by demons and monsters. Due to the presence of mana, humans have become stronger and can live much longer. The average life span of a human is around 150, a high ranking human could live up to 300 years.

I have taken over the body of an average human of rank F who has recently enrolled in Tytan Academy, the number one academy of the world.

The school is headed by a Rank SSS human who is one of the strongest in the human domain. The strength of humans is divided into different ranks; SSS being the strongest and F being the weakest.

Still despite being an extra, Zero had managed to get admitted into the top academy of the human domain.

Despite being in the top 1% of humanity talent wise, it was not enough. This was awfully clear to me, as I knew how the future would unfold.

Still I did not despair, only a cheat like me who knows future events and where the cheat items were, could become successful.

Which is why I didn't want the plot to deviate so early on, yet I had already messed up my only role and confessed to the wrong heroine.

Naturally I knew about the butterfly effect, and how useless it would be to try to stick to the original plot line.

Having such a high affinity with the Ice element was also a pleasant surprise. It was rare to have affinity's with two elements but not unheard of, Three affinity's were a one in a generation talent.
