Liam was walking down the street with two noble ladies. One on either side.
This drew in many jealous looks.
They were moving slowly and deliberately so. Both ladies had discovered that the street food didn't taste any worse than that of a noble house cook. On the contrary, some tasted even better when they got to try them freshly made.
Some food smelled so delicious that Willa burned her mouth with the surgery sweetness. She regretted doing that a moment later but was rewarded by Liam's concern for her well-being.
She was laughing internally as she saw how this made June jealous of her.
A few minutes later, June 'accidentally' stumbled, and Liam had to catch her. June blushed as Liam embraced her in this situation. This made June happy to see Willa's infuriated face.
This charade continued up until they reached the Trade Center. Liam was tired of all those theatrics, but he suffered in silence. He had seen everything and all the trick both girls pulled on him and each other.
