Promise?
Liam suddenly heard a familiar voice.
The voice sounded as if it was in pain.
He knew who the sound belonged to but dared not believe that that child was hurt so much that it could produce such a sound.
'Who is the idiot laying their hands on my people again?' Liam thought as he rushed over to the scene, not forgetting to pull something over his head.
To his amazement, he saw ten guards trying to subdue Grandpa Polo, and two were pressing the kids to the ground. Three guards held the unconscious twins, who looked like they had been beaten to death.
The scene made him mad beyond reason. Didn't he tell them not to harm them?
"STOP," his voice resounded, and everybody ceased moving. It was so full of authority that the guards didn't even look who had said that, just obeyed.
"Grandpa Polo, where is Jin?" Then, to Liam's amazement, the old man started to cry. He looked at Yong-sun and Karu, who were both crying as well.
