I Can Talk to the Essence of Everything

Liam is a typical spoon-fed rich guy who tossed it all out the window. Well, he wasn't exactly specific as he could control the world… that is if he wanted to do that. He was more into adventure and learning. You could call him the curious cat, as his curiosity brought him a lot of trouble. He is the only person who can see and interact with the condensed forms of matter. He calls them Avatars of the World, but they call him a World Reader. It's a name they didn't come up with; instead, they knew what he was without any idea what it meant. They also felt the need to protect the child of the worlds, which brought them the Worlds Readers anger as he didn't like being protected to this extent. The trouble came searching for him, and that trouble would come at him every time… Fortunately, Liam decides to explore the trouble that one seed brought him, as it seems he has no other choice. He lands on a new planet and decides to learn more about it. Then, finally, starting to feel excited by all the strangeness and meeting some terrifying things and humans with strange kinds of social hierarchy. At least he won't be bored anymore, is what he thinks. '**' There will be a tiny mention of a system later, but that is just a small part. And that would happen after he completes an assignment he does not know about. **** Art, not mine. I don't know the artist either. Sorry. Can I help?

He now understood how unbearably weak he had been and still is, but he didn't start to chase after it. First, he needed to know how strong he was before he began to pursue something he wasn't familiar with.

Power wasn't what he wanted. So he mostly chased after something new, something that seemed to be unattainable. But somehow, as he had started this path and crossed the limitation of humanity, he began to feel bored again…

He didn't think that this feeling would come this soon. He hated the feeling.

Now, he hoped that finding new creatures to hunt and teaching those children would lessen his boredom. Ha made himself comfortable on a high branch of a tree. He started breathing again, concentrating on the creatures around.

He detected many of them, to his surprise, but unfortunately, they all seemed to be herbivores. After some deliberation, he decided to take one out. Ha wanted to see what the difference between them was.

Two hours later.

The kids saw the tree shake again. Liam appeared just under it. He seemed to be pulling something larger this time. The kids seemed to have been getting used to these giant creatures around them as they came running. They wanted to see what Liam had brought this time.

"Green Horned... Steel Needle Buffalo? How?"

"Well, killing it was rather easy, but getting it away from the herd was difficult. Getting it back here was extremely hard. Ugh, I need to wash up after I'm done with this thing. What did you say it was called? Green something? Does the horn have some kind of ability?"

Karu, whose mouth had fallen open by Liam's nonchalant words, closed it again. Just to start speaking. "The Green Horned Steel Needle Buffalo horn is used as medicine, and rich people use it as a drug. The steel needles should explain themselves."

Liam laughed at that. 'So the horn has medicinal effects.'

He pulled the huge corps up the tree and let it drain properly as he went to the river and washed up.

"Sir, can I do anything to help?" Karu seemed to be eager to learn new things. This didn't bother Liam, and he even liked it. He gave the boy a knife and explained where he should cut the tendons and how to crack them off. He was making him remove all the six hooves.

He started to throw those away when the boy stopped him. "Sir, wait! Those can be sold as well!"

"Hmm, really?" He asked incredulously. "What are they used for?"

"I don't know, sir," He said sullenly, "Dad always used to say that every part of a beast can be used to make equipment or anything else," he remembered his father's words.

Liam smiled at that, "Keep them then. You can sell them when we reach Pando," he said and handed the boy another storage pouch. He now had a few of them anyway. There was nothing else he could do with them always.

The boy accepted the bag and put the hooves inside the bag.

"I think the test of this part is going to be too hard on you, so I will do this. How about I call you when I have something else for you to do, hm?"

Karu nodded at that and left to his brother. Liam introduced them to Red Hands, and the two others played that game. Liam sighed at the adorable sight, wishing he could play the game again with someone, but there was probably no one around with a similar speed as he had. He turned to look at the huge beast and started his work.

It had taken him a full hour to get the skin of that damn beast, and it turned out that the skin of this one weighed even more than the Purple Runners.

"What the hell am I going to do with all those skins. I probably need to throw a few of those away soon," he tossed this skin in the river as well, with a few large rocks holding it in place. He pulled out the three he had put there yesterday and started working with them.

Karu approached him again.

"Can I help?"

Liam answered him with a question.

"Don't you want to play with your brother or something?"

"It's not that. I shouldn't have things I haven't worked for," he said sullenly.

"That …" Liam started to smile at that. "Of course, come here. I'll show you. I must warn you, this is hard work," he handed him the same knife as before and showed him what he was doing with the skins. He was rather proud of the boy. He left him there and told the other two boys to go gather some wood for the fire.

Returning, he saw many mistakes that needed to be worked over. He wouldn't gloss over those and point them out. The boy did the work without complaining. Soon all three had been cleaned, and Liam took them back to the river.

The two boys had returned and were trying to make a fire. They hadn't ever done something like that, but they had seen how easily Liam had done it last night, so they wanted to try. Liam went over to them with Karu trailing behind him and started to tell them how it should be done.

It had taken the three boys half an hour to get it to burn properly. They made the food for themselves. Liam devised the corps in three and gave the huge liver of that creature to Biff. The others didn't complain either. They got their share of the liver from the pouches.

"If it goes like this, then I have about two more days of liver left. But we shouldn't be too far from Pando. So should we move forward tomorrow or stay here for one more day?" He questioned himself. He was near the river, so Biff heard him quite clearly.

"Stay one more day," bubbling. "I think you might like the people traveling down the river this time," bubble.

"Others are traveling down the river right now?"

"There is always someone traveling up or down the river, but one of those seems to be as interesting as that boy you call Yong-Sun," bubbling.

"Hah, she seems persistent," Liam smiled at that. "We will move tomorrow. If she is still persistent when we reach Meira, then I'll think about teaching her."

"Hmm, how are you teaching the kids now? They're just playing around, except the older one," the water surface bubbled again.

"They are too young to be thought harshly. And Karu has a good mentality."
