8 Quest?
Kaoru PoV-
Presently I was taking a hot bath. I always do after my shift ends, this was necessary since my body is stiff. While I was enjoying my time relaxing in the bathtub, suddenly an image of Junichi appeared in my mind.
I was in a daze while thinking of him, then suddenly I realized what I was doing and blushed.
"What the hell! Why would I think about Junichi?! I think I'm going crazy!"
I drowned half of my face into the water, then I continued,
"Does he think that I'm beautiful? It wasn't a lie right?"
I was suddenly concerned about something unimportant, but I can't stop it...

Then I made bubbles using my mouth.
While I was playing with bubbles, my phone suddenly rang. I slowly took my phone and looked at it.
"Huh? Who is this?"
Someone was calling me through Line, and the number was something I wasn't familiar with...so I was hesitating whether to answer It or not, but after a moment I decided to accept It.
"Hello? Who is this?"
The other party was silent for a moment before they answered.
"It's me, Junichi."
Hearing that, I almost dropped my phone in the hot tub, but luckily I was fast to catch it, and I sigh in relief, then I suddenly became nervous for some reason.
"What's...your purpose for calling me?"
This is so dumb, why am I nervous? It's just Junichi! He's nothing more than a childhood friend!

So It was about that, well at least he had a proper reason, then I replied,

"I'll take you on a date, but It can't be tomorrow. What about next week? After I get my first salary, let's go on a date."
I suddenly couldn't believe what I was hearing. I don't know how to answer this, so I was left dazed for a minute.
"Hello? No one is answering? Anyway, just be ready when the time comes, I'll hang up later!"

I finished calling Kaoru, but for the love of God why can't she be direct? Well I know It might be embarrassing to ask someone on a date, but It wasn't that hard If you just get used to it.
And for the record I already asked many girls to go on a date with me, I don't know the exact number but I'm pretty sure It's less than a hundred. Once you do It you'll get a skill called 'Thick skin bastard' which is useful every time.
Just so you know, dating and getting a girl as your girlfriend is different. If you date It doesn't mean you're a couple, It just means that the girl got interested in you even the slightest, and the date is the battlefield.
Although I have asked many girls on a date, half declined and half accepted and miraculously 1 became my girlfriend, that's why you shouldn't give up, but even though I have a girlfriend at that time I didn't get to taste the forbidden fruit even until we broke up.
