Metahumans?

"What do you mean by what we are?" One of the other boys asked, he didn't think anybody had powers before all this.

"These things we have, they started long ago, hundreds of people develop superpowers like our own every 100 years, it was initially meant to be only a few humans but it seems everyone has it this time around." Kamikaze said with a curious look on his face.

"So you've been a metahuman for 3 years, you must be really powerful?" Kenji asked, with all those years of experience, Kamikaze should be a force to be reckoned with.

"Yes, I can teleport all across Asia but that's not the important thing, we need to focus on..." Kamikaze slowly trailed off inyo a speech but Kenji was more focused on what he was seeing.

[INSPECT SKILL CANNOT WORK ON TARGET.]

This was the first time Kenji had seen something like this and he was beyond suspicious.

"So you're saying that these gangs have been trafficking superhumans for over 200 years." Quickie said, drawing Kenji's attention back to his surroundings.

"Precisely and my brother is in that prison we just escaped." Kamikaze said with a sad look on his face.

"Well, my name is Kenji and I'm glad to stand beside you." Kenji said with his hand outstretched, with a teleportation talent like his, Kenji would easily break out his classmates.

[ERROR, TALENT CAN NOT BE COPIED.]

Kamikaze felt a small jolt of electricity go through his body, forcing him to break off the handshake.

'This guy is just full of surprises, first I can't inspect him and now I can't copy his talent?' Kenji asked himself.

"So, do you have a plan that would allow us break out your brother?" Quickie asked, he noticed a slight tension between Kenji and their savior.

"Not yet, but now that I know the location of his prison, I would come up with a plan soon." Kamikaze said with an uncanny smile on his face.

"And what is in this for us?" Koya, a blue haired boy with beautiful blue eyes said, he couldn't stand Kamikaze's constant ramblings.

"I mean, if you want us to risk our lives to save your brother, then what is in it for us?" Koya said and he received nods of approval from thd boys around him.

"I will teach all of you how to use your powers to their full potential." Kamikaze said, piquing the interest of everyone except Kenji.

'Bullshit, if he was so powerful then it wouldn't take him 2 years to get recognized by Mr. Muzuki or maybe...' it finally clicked in Kenji's head, Kamikaze had been hiding his powers.

"The zombies? Are they a new thing too." Kenji asked, if Kamikaze was saying the truth about Metahumans not being new, then Zombies might be the same.

"Yes, I have no idea where these zombies came from." Kamikaze said and Kenji nodded his head.

"Before we proceed, I want everyone to know that I am not forcing any of you to join me on this quest, you can leave if you want." Kamikaze said while observing the reactions of everyone.

"Firstly, we need to get food, water and shelter, you don't want us to die before we can save your brother do you?" Kenji asked mockingly.

"Yeah, we're going to have to do some exploring." Kamikaze said and it was clear he hadn't thought this far ahead.

"So? Where do you suggest we start?" Kenji asked, he was trying to present himself as a better leader than Kamikaze at all costs.

"I'd suggest we head to any restaurant close to us." Kamikaze said, he made sure to teleport the group far away from that prison to avoid being caught again.

"Quickie, scout this entire area for a decent restaurant with food in it." Silver said and Quickie nodded.

"So while we wait, why don't you tell us exactly how you plan to teach us more about our powers?" Kenji asked, that was the main reason he was still sticking with Kamikaze.

"Well, there are certain techniques and trainings that could help you learn more about your powers, but we can't dwell on that for now." Kamikaze said, dismissing Kenji's question.

'Something is not right with this guy.' Kenji thought, Kamikaze was acting way too strange for him to trust.

"There are a few places close to us, but the best is a few meters away from us." Quickie said, drawing Kenji's attention.

"Nice, how many zombies did you meet on your way?" Kenji asked, he could see a little blood on Quickie's clothes and he was sure it was not his.

"About 3, buy they're nothing to worry about, we can take them out easily." Quickie said and Kenji nodded.

"Teleport us there." Kenji said while staring at Kamikaze who had an angry look on his face.

"I can't teleport anywhere for now, I expended what was left of my energy so we would need to walk." Kamikaze said.

The other boys didn't have any talents that would enable quick movement, so there was no workaround, they needed to walk.

"Lead the way." Kenji said to Quickie who had an annoyed look on his face, why should he have to wait for these weaklings to catch up to him?

The journey started with little to no problems except for one or two zombies here and there, that were quickly taken care of by other members of the group.

The restaurant Quickie had chosen was a very huge five star restaurant, that seemed to have been untouched by zombies.

"Don't go inside." Kenji said startling everybody, they had been starving for hours and now that paradise awaited, he was telling them not to explore?

"There are zombies in there." Kenji said with a serious look on his face, he unsheathed his long sword and activated vantage sight just in case.

"Bullshit, whatever zombie I catch is going in my stomach." One of the boys said, he pushed open the door to the restaurant and that was the last thing he ever did.

'No wonder Quickie didn't see much zombies, they are all in here.' Kenji thought, seeing the swarm of zombies pouring out.
