Speaking of the mastermind, Miguel finally asked the question that he wanted to ask the most, "Right, who ordered the assassination the previous time? I mean the last major commission that you speak of."
Without any second thought, Liam answered, "It was a servant. A very ordinary servant of the Red Family with the token of a Red Family's elder."
Upon recalling that matter, a trace of lingering confusion also appeared in Liam's face.
He just recalled how that servant approached them.
Normally, anyone who wanted to hire them would post a notice in the mercenary guild with a code. If one of his slaves noticed the post, they would accept the commission if they deemed it accomplishable.
However, the servant came to the entertainment district directly.
The servant came before his show and approached him with clear intention.
At that point, he also realized that their location and 'secret base' had been discovered.
