Heroes from another world

Year 6050

In an ancient castle, within its deep basement, numerous priests and members of the Yeridianic Alliance gathered. At the center of this dimly lit, stone-walled chamber stood a summoning magic circle.

After years of diligent study, the priests had succeeded in creating a summoning circle and were now preparing to test it.

As they began, the priests released their divine energy into the circle, causing it to illuminate brightly. and something start to materialize in the circle.

As soon as the light ceased, what they saw shocked them. They were looking at a group of kids, around 16-17 years old, dressed in strange clothes and lying unconscious. Among them, three were boys and two were girls.

When the members of the alliance checked the cultivation levels of these kids, they were astounded to discover that they were mere mortals, devoid of even a trace of mana or aura.

This revelation nearly made the priests cough up blood, as they had expended most, if not all, of their divine energy to perform the summoning magic.

Yet, what they had summoned were fucking children, devoid of any magical prowess.

They had expected to summon a being powerful enough to slay Vilran, but what they got were kids who would perish with merely a wave of Vilran's hand.

Soon after, the kids woke up and, upon seeing the priests and the members of the Verdianic Alliance, they all freaked out like crazy, yelling that they got "isekai'd."

Eventually, the priests managed to calm them down and explained that they had been summoned to a different world and that they couldn't return to their original world again.

The reason was quite embarrassing: the priests had botched the summoning magic and didn't even know how to send something back to its original space, given that the workings of the summoning magic itself were a miracle to them.

Initially, the kids were freaked out, but once they calmed down, they introduced themselves as Ryu, Jin, Hua, Sofia, and Yumeko.

They came from a world devoid of any magic or aura and were from an international school in their world. In their world, something called anime was very popular, within which the "isekai" genre was the most popular.

So, when they woke up to unfamiliar surroundings, the first word that came to their minds was "isekai'd."

"The kids are the chosen ones, the heroes, the ones who could defeat the demons and free our continent."

Suddenly, everyone in the basement seemed to hear the same voice stating that the kids who were summoned are the chosen ones, the heroes.

Everyone in the room was dumbfounded by the voice they suddenly heard. However, the high priest present declared this voice to be that of the supreme deity guiding them, and, surprisingly, everyone seemed to believe it. This was because, as everyone heard the voice, it couldn't be a hallucination.

In reality, the high priest just made this up because there was no other option but to believe the voice. As for the supreme deity guiding them, it was just plain nonsense.

Even if the supreme deity did exist, why hadn't he helped the heavenly church in the past?

For instance, when the heavenly kingdom broke off, or when the Verdian continent lost to the demons and became their slaves,

or when the elves were made into sex slaves by the daemons (a situation the daemons had some pretty good, big and beautiful reasons for, if you understand what I mean.)

After the declaration, the high priest named the five kids heroes and ordered the priests and the alliance to train them in magic and aura.

Initially hesitant, the group of kids eventually joined the Verdianic Alliance for several reasons. Firstly, they couldn't return to their original world, according to the priests.

Moreover, they had no one else to rely on in this new world, so aligning with those who summoned them seemed like the best option.

It was a simple case of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em."

From then on, the five kids were trained by the heavenly church and the Verdianic Alliance.

To everyone's astonishment, the kids displayed remarkable talent, reaching the adept magic stage and adept aura stage in just two months, which was nothing short of a miracle.

Even the super geniuses in Verdian typically took years to reach this stage, indicating that the summoned kids were indeed exceptionally talented and might possess the capability to help defeat Vilran.

Year 6100

Fifty years have passed since Ryu, Jin, Hua, Sofia, and Yumiko were summoned to Veridian. During these years, the five have undergone rigorous training by the Verdianic Alliance and the heavenly church to an extreme degree, truly pushing the limits of their capabilities.

Over these five decades, these individuals have reached supreme stages in either magic or aura usage, positioning them among the world's elite, excluding sages and saints from the ranking.

One significant development in the past fifty years is the remarkable increase in the number of members within the Verdianic Alliance.

The efforts of Ryu, his friends, and the members of the heavenly church and the Verdianic Alliance have significantly raised awareness about the possibility of freedom across the continent.

As a result, many high-ranking members of the Veridian races have secretly joined the Verdianic Alliance, plotting against the daemon race and strategizing on how to completely overthrow their dominion.

The Verdianic Alliance now boasts an army of around 600 million magic and aura cultivators. Even those supreme stage beings who had surrendered to Vilran in the previous war have joined the alliance.

Their initial surrender was driven by a desire to preserve their lives and the lives of their factions. However, circumstances have drastically changed.

The demons have grown uncontrollable, slaughtering the Verdianic races indiscriminately. Facing the prospect of inevitable death, they have decided that if death is to come, they will face it fighting against these demon bastards.

And so, the stage is set for the second Demon-Verdian war.

Meanwhile, in the ocean,

Significant activity has been observed in the deep ocean. Over the last 6000 years, life in the oceans has evolved more rapidly than on the surface.

While surface dwellers, no matter how cruel or barbaric, usually do not kill indiscriminately, the ocean operates on a different set of rules.

Here, only the strong survive, and the weak are devoured, becoming food for the stronger. This chaotic environment has led many aquatic races to engage in self-destructive behavior, leading to their extinction.

This turbulent state suggests the dawn of an era where aquatic creatures would dominate the world, ushering in a level of chaos beyond anyone's wildest dreams.
