4- God must love me because I'm blessed

Yes, I was blessed.

Both our fathers were talking about their work for at least last one hour. And I was playing with those vampire siblings.

Li was the more realistic and serious one than his little sister.

His little sister Lizzie was still a bit shy and refuse to get away too much from his father.

Vampires always would grow up earlier than humans so Lizzie looked like she at the same age as me right now.

This was a bit annoying but I didn't care about this too much.

"Are you the girl of the great duke? This is soooo cool!"

"Being the vampire lord's little daughter must be even cooler!"

Lizzie chuckled sweetly.

"No, it's more like you're always wearing a corset. Am I wrong brother?"

Li raised his head from the book he was reading to look at us.

"Well, I don't know how a corset feels so I can't say something clear about this you know."

Lizzie and I started to laugh at his words. He was still trying to understand us. This was obvious from his eyes.

"Hey Lizzie, by the way, what do you think about humans?"

This was one of the most important things I need to know about. In the novel, Lizzie was really good if humans and this was the reason for her to meet with the son of the human lord.

"Uhm, I don't know much about humans. I only rode books about them. Also, my dad doesn't let me out too much. But as far as I know about humans they are kind and funny. I like being with humans."

This was bad. If this wouldn't change in the future she would definitely meet with her killer love.

Her killer love. Maybe, just maybe, this was her fate. Just as like marrying his brother is my fate.

"So what do you think about vampires Karen?"

I get rid of my thought with Lizzie's question.

I think about the first vampires. They were bloodthirsty and wild. But now everything was changing slowly.

"I don't have a direct thought about vampires. I was afraid of them when I first read a book about them. But I don't believe that vampires are bloodthirsty and wild. I find them more cute and serious."

This was the best answer I can ever give to her. And she was looking at me with a satisfied look in her eyes.

However, her brother Li was looking at me with question marks in her eyes.

"Are you really sure about this?"

In the novel, all was turned into a bloodthirsty vampire before his marriage to Karen because of his sister's death.

And after the marriage, Katen was the one who helps him to stay calm and turn into normal.

"'Li, what do you think about humans?"

At least I can try to be nice to him.

"I dont like humans."

...ok I wouldn't think that he would be that direct to me.

"They all see us as dangerous monsters. Just annoying."

He was just four and yet he tho is like this!

When I was about to answer him my father called my name.

"Karen, we're leaving for now. Come here, dear."

"See you later Karen!"

Lizzie hugged me before letting me leave. Li wasn't glancing at me. He was feeding a little bird behind the trees.

His cold eyes finally seem to soften a bit.

"Let's leave father."

I held my father's hand and start to walk toward our castle.
