3 - Bottomless pit
Phew.. I immediately collapsed on the bed after returning back from the bar.
It looks like I had seriously underestimated Luffy's stubbornness. That guy did not give up even after getting rejected by me eight times.
Fortunately Makino san appeared in time and stopped Luffy with just a simple glare! Hehe.. that boy is surely very innocent.
' Hey System ! I want to see the list of items available in the shop. Do I have to meditate to access system space every time? '
I decided that it was better to get familiar with system's options as soon as possible. After all my wounds were pretty much healed already so I wanted to start my training soon.
' Host can access system options with simple mental command. '
This answer relieved me as it would be troublesome to enter in meditation state each time I want to access system's options.
Alright , it was time to see what the Shop had to offer. I laid down on the bed and gave the mental command to system.
' System , open the shop tab and show me the list of available items! '
'Affirmative! '
Suddenly I felt something in my mind and closed my eyes. There , I could see a big blue screen with three options.

I mentally clicked on the Item option and suddenly the content of the screen changed to uncountable list of item names.
I was already starting to get a headache seeing the long list because it would take forever to browse through the whole list.
I decided that it was best to browse through other two lists first.
Unexpectedly it was really easy to navigate through system. I just thought about going back to previous page and immediately the contents of the screen changed.
This time I thought for a while before mentally clicking on the Bloodline Option. After all their number should be lesser than skills.
The contents changed once again and my eyes widened in shock when I saw the price of the first item on the list.
SAGE BODY ( FIRST STAGE ) :
GRANTS WOOD RELEASE AND GREAT AMOUNT OF LIFE FORCE. THE AFFINITY WITH NATURAL ENERGY IS GREATLY INCREASED.
PRICE : 100 MILLION SP ( SHOP POINTS )
Of course I had some knowledge about the Sage body which should be the one which Hashirama had. But the price was too expensive. Even though I had no idea about the way to gain shop points but still 100 million would definitely take long time for me to accumulate.
Next items on the list were as I had expected, all the important and powerful bloodlines like Uchiha, Senju , Uzumaki etc. Their prices were not as ridiculous as Sage Body but they looked still very expensive.

There were even options to forcibly unlock the potential of bloodline like 1 tomoe , 2 tomoe , 3 tomoe , Mangekyo , Eternal Mangekyo etc.
The price to unlock Eternal Mangekyo was 50 million shop points. I still thought that the price was very expensive but at the Sam's time , I was very glad that at least there was a way to unlock this dojutsu without experiencing loss of loved one or something.
As I expected, there were many other bloodlines on the list but the number was not that great.
I looked at the brief description of all of them and found only a few that seemed useful.

Well there were other bloodlines too which seemed very useful like Hoshigaki , Hozuki , Nara etc but I decided not to think about them much because it's better to focus on few bloodlines first which could provide me great immediate benefits and growth potential.
Next I decided that it was time to ask about the way to earn Shop points. After all if it was difficult then I had to change a lot of my plans in future because it may take long time to just accumulate points.
' System, how can I earn Shop Points? Also can I exchange something like Devil Fruit for Shop points? '
' Shop points can only be exchanged with money. In this world it would be Berri. The exchange rate is fixed 50 Berri = 1 SP ! '
Huh?
I was honestly baffled by this discovery. I had thought that I would have to kill or defeat enemies like some system novels I had read in my past life. That would have been a lot of work. So I was totally fine with the simple method of exchanging money.
But the exchange rate was too expensive!
50 Berri = 1 SP seemed too much when I thought about the ridiculous price of Sage Body which was whopping 100 Million SP.
That would be 5,000,000,000 SP. The sheer number of Zeros in the amount made my eyes feel dizzy.
It looks like my idea of exchanging devil fruits or something for SP was also not possible as system clearly mentioned that only money or berri could be exchanged.
I could not help but release a long sigh when I thought about the effort it would take to amass so much money in future.
I wanted to be a pirate for the purpose of adventuring and some exciting fights but now it looks like I would have to add one more job which was to loot other pirates. After all I wont feel bad stealing from pirates because they did not earn money the legal way either.
Currently I had no money on me so hunting some pirates would be the current best option. I could gain combat experience, get their bounty and loot their treasury at the same time.
Well at least first step for near future was decided. Luffy told me that he was currently 14 something years old. So it meant that there was more than 2 years before he set out on his journey.
Sorry Luffy , it looks like I had no choice but to take care of your future opponents soon!
There should be Alvida , Don Krieg , Arlong and that cat bastard Captain Kuro. Hehe.. these four alone definitely would get me a lot of money...
Sigh.. I could feel that my personality would define change into a money grubber in future due to this bottomless pit called system! I did not like that but there was no way I would give up on so many good stuff available in system shop either.
So those four pirates had to definitely die in near future. And I definitely wont forget the pirate group who attacked the merchant ship the previous Willam worked on as a Chore Boy. I did not have any idea about the name of their pirate group but too bad for them because ninja were supposed to train in infiltration and information gathering skills. I would definitely not let them live when I found them.
