Under The Umbrella

She sighed and slumped on the bench near the hotel she'd been in earlier. Holding the visitor card in her hand, Athasia snorted.

"Well, I can always try. At least I have a visitor's card now." She grinned and looked up at the noon sky. Her stomach growled. She hadn't eaten anything yet since this morning. Even though she wanted to stay there, food is important.

She trailed the sidewalks while looking at those shops nearby. At this moment, she saw a pastry shop and cafe in one.

The bells above it rang when she pushed the glass door. The sweetness mixing in the air along with a strong coffee smell immediately greeted her. She sudden;ly missed those times when she's writing in a place like this.

The young miss headed to the counter and ordered something light to eat along with a strong coffee.

The one managing the counter gazed at her. "Mam, are you sure you can handle this?" He was talking about the shot of the coffee.
