Her long thick lashes squirmed along with her blinking amethyst eyes. The dim lights coming from the porch outside made her realize that she's in the living room. 

When she slowly sat up, the notebook and pen from her lap fell down on the floor and the pen rolled somewhere underneath the sofa. Athasia widely opened her eyes while rubbing it. She stood and made a big yawn, stretching her arms up. 

"Oh, I fell asleep in the living room." She looked around and saw that it's still night from the window. The light on the porch was still on and the surroundings were quiet. 

She remembered that after eating dinner, she told Linlin that she wanted to wait for Adreanne. Linlin volunteered to wash the dishes and told her that she needed to sleep early and make sure to go back to her room when her mom arrived. 

But based on the situation, Adreanne hasn't arrived. Luckily, her phone was on the table near the sofa. She took it and read the time. "9pm,"
