That cold water made her shudder and the stinky smell quickly enveloped her skin, drenching her school uniform.
"Look at her. She looks like a puppy."
"Yeah, but she's really a puppy though. She was abandoned, right?"
"Who would want a mistress' daughter? It's a shame. I heard her father was very rich,"
"Yeah, that's why her mom seduced him, right?"
Their laughter resonated in the air and it reached her ears. It was painful, like it's tearing her apart. Aside from the bruises around her body, those words were much more painful to hear. She just wanted to rip her ears.
However, she already experienced all kinds of pain, so why does she need to hesitate now? Those lifeless amethyst eyes of her lifted up and looked at them. "It's not true," she mumbled.
The conversation of the group of girls stopped when they heard her. One of them crouched down and grasped her cheeks. "What did you say?"
