Everything looked the same in the tunnel.
After walking for more than an hour, the big scorpion pondered for a while before speaking up, "Elder King, could it be that we have been in the same place all along?"
They had already walked for an unknown distance, but they were still not seeing anything. Instead, it was still a long passageway that seemed to lead to the depths of someplace.
It was possible that they would continue walking until they died. Perhaps they were already trapped here.
Once this idea was brought up, everyone was somewhat convinced because they had more or less harbored the worry, though they did not say it out loud.
Now, they only had one option left, and that was to walk back the way they came.
Qin Chen looked at the path they came from. It was layers of deep and repetitive tunnels. This gave him a bad feeling, but he quickly threw the feeling to the back of his mind.
"Then let's go back."
