CHAPTER THREE

         Another week went by without much trouble, surprisingly Joker didn't bug or hit me the most he did was say hurtful comments, guess walking on egg shells really paid off, I was getting better at my training with Frost and won matches against him few times, I wasn't surprised when I found out that Joker was planning a huge heist, as usual it had to be something that will get the Bat's attention, I sensed that was the reason he didn't bother touching me all week, I'm needed for the heist, as always I did most of the planning but had to make to seem like it was his idea after all he hates it when the best idea isn't from him, the target was LYNCOLN'S CORPORATION a company cooperating with Wayne's Enterprises, the CEO Mr. Lincoln a fat middle aged man known for his notorious womanizing would be attending a meeting with the vice president of  Diamond's Corporation and as it would turn out he was going to bring in cases of solid gold bars, I was to act as the vice President luckily hasn't been seen by Mr. Lincoln before , I was to keep him busy and announce the Joker when it was time and then chaos will begin, a grand entry, just as he likes.

        While Joker made his plans I also made mine, his plans ends when mine begins, I made the escape plan with Frost, it was simple, he had a friend who was the boss of a very popular club, Viper as he preferred to be called, his job was to send someone over on the day of the operation disguised as a vet while the real vet which Joker contacted and had bribed over the past few years to do his bidding to come on the day of the operation would be delayed by some of his men, the fake vet would then give the hyenas seductive and make it seem like they needed to be taken to his clinic for immediate treatment, most of his minions would be out that day with us but two minions had been placed to escort the vet in case of emergencies like this, they would be taken care of along the way while Bud and Lou will be kept at one of Viper's villas, Viper owes Frost a favour so he also had prepared a very generous amount of cash and a car for me, I was really thankful to him and thanked him over and over, I would escape during the chaos when everyone is distracted with killing the other, Frost advised me in leaving everything as it could have a chip installed including my phone, it was a good plan and I couldn't wait to leave this mad house while I still had my sanity hanging on a thin thread.

         The BOOM Day literally crawled before my eyes but it was finally here, the VP of Diamonds and her people were already kidnapped the day before and placed in one of Joker's warehouses, I wore a shirt, palazzo trousers and styled my hair hiding the pink and blue tips I used makeup to hide the tattoos, I really looked like a normal citizen going to work I didn't take even a pin as I left as Frost advised, I had to doubt the thought of Joker putting chips in Harley's things as he didn't think of Harley as anything other than his henchwoman even less than that, but I couldn't risk it.

At the Lyncoln corporation, the door of the meeting room was opened by one of my people who was disguised as one of Diamond's bodyguard I stepped in with a huge smile on my face 'Let the show begin'

The meeting went by slowly and I couldn't help but zone out a few times, I looked at the time for the fifteenth time, just five minutes before the grand entry I noticed "Well what do you think Miss Mary" Mr. Lincoln asked suddenly and I jolted back to reality, "The presentation is good and all, but how do we know that you really want to work with us" he understood my words and ordered his men to lay out and open the brief cases, The fifteen cases were opened and revealed full solid gold bars, I smiled as five of my men collected the cases, " What do you think?" Mr. Lincoln continued "We can of course seal the deal on my private island" he said and looked at me with lustful eyes, 'Disgusting' I thought but smiled "I'll have to pass but I wonder if Joker would be willing to discuss the sale of the private island, after all it'd be nice to have a vacation one of these days" I replied with a grin "Jo…Joker?!" Lincoln looked distraught, at the same time the meeting hall door exploded and Joker walked in grinning, "Sorry to crash this meeting but I have an appointment with some gold bars" and with that the simple meeting was crashed and chaos began the cases were taken out and put in the van but Joker wasn't done after all he was the Joker a little killing would be fun, no one was able to leave the room as they tried to fight for their lives.

        I removed the clothes and revealed my signature harlequin costume which I had worn under the formal clothes, one of the men handed me my hammer, a gun and a purse filled with my makeup utensils, I wanted to look good while I made my escape I wiped off the makeup revealing my tattoos and started to apply a new one, "You bitch!" Lincoln yelled as he carried a chair and tried to hit me while I was putting on my lipstick, I jumped over him and shot him on the leg, he screamed in pain, "Didn't anyone teach you not interrupt a lady when she's trying to put on her makeup?" "Bitch" he said while groaning in pain I frowned "seems you still have a lot of energy" Joker said behind me and went off to kick him on his face I was sure that his jaw was broken, "I'm going to have lots of fun with you" Joker said as he pulled his hair, at that moment Batman and Robin flew in from the window and the police made their way in, I smiled 'Finally the star of the show has arrived'  Batman nudged Robin to get the people out of the meeting room to which he did along with the police it wasn't going to be easy as Joker's men were tough and outnumbered them, I left to handle Robin along with the men, I played with him before I looked over at Frost who noticed me i nodded at him, he understood and secretly let out few smoke bombs, it benefited Robin as he quickly knocked out the men standing close to the only exit and went off  with the people more of the Joker's men followed behind him, i didn't follow as I felt that would hold him off for a while, Frost looked over at me as he also tried to leave and keep Robin busy I nodded at him, he nodded back with a silent goodbye he turned and left, i really felt a sting as I saw him leave, despite not being Harley he was really the only one I could rely on when I was lost, it'd be best to let him know the truth soon I wonder if he'd accept it.

       I turned and saw Joker still fighting Batman, Joker was on the losing side but still had a grin on his face, that was due to the ace he had up his sleeve which of course is my escape flag, Joker was knocked out and I joined the fight as planned "How dare you hurt my Puddin you bad bat!" I swung my hammer at him which he successfully dodged, we fought for some time before he finally had me pinned to the ground "you will have lots of time to console your love at Akrham" Bat said it was then I realized that despite the seriousness in his voice it sounded really deep and sexy, too sexy I blushed and thanked my stars for my makeup else the blush would be obvious, my heart started racing, I wanted to hear his voice some more but at that point Joker appeared at the back of Batman holding a piece of iron, I grinned and continued my acting "Pity you won't have the pleasure of taking us there Batsy" Batman noticed something was wrong and turned, Joker immediately knocked him out cold with the chair.

"You did it Puddin!" I jumped in glee, Joker grinned and wanted to hit him once again but the at that point the a loud bang was heard and fire hit the room, it was getting huge by the minute and we needed to get out of there, we ran to the exit leaving the unconscious Batman behind, I faked a fall letting a piece of hot wood fall on my back and watched Joker run a bit further and the fire getting worse before calling out to him "Puddin! Help!" he turned despite his surprise, he grinned and ran off laughing on the way, he stopped on his tracks and turned once more and tried to run back to me, 'No you selfish bastard! Go away run away Harley means nothing to you anyway'   Just then he stopped on his tracks "Puddin! Help me please" he grinned and made an air kiss and ran off once again without looking back laughing hysterically along the way.

    Joker barely got out of the building when it exploded, the explosion caused the building to collapse and it distracted the police and Robin who tried running in to get Bat man out even Frost who Robin fought with couldn't help but worry about a certain someone, Joker and his men used that chance to escape while the police looked for ways to quench the fire along with the fire fighters who quickly arrived at the scene, In the van, Frost asked Joker still had a grin on his face while looking out the window "what about Quinn Joker?"

        Joker looked at him with bloodshot eyes and quickly pointed a gun at him, Frost looked on calmly while the Joker laughed before answering "I left her there, I watched her call out for me her and I took off I finally got rid of that leech!" he placed the gun back and closed his eyes before pointing the gun at a random henchman who turned out to be Poison a ruthless killer under Joker "you….Find her" Poison was perplexed and asked "Joker but the explosion" Joker pulled the trigger but missed  it was a very close shot the bullet instead pierced the van, making a hole, "Make one more sign of disapproval and it goes in to your head next time, she's Harley Quinn you fool I created her! I made her; do you think she'd die from a little thing like that? FIND HER NOW AND BRING HER TO ME!" Poison nodded and the ride continued in silence, Frost couldn't help but hope that she was safe
