94 Ch 94: The First Floor (2)

The undead creatures moved on all fours, looking around for any sign of Valerius, occasionally emitting a creepy, bone-chilling laugh.

Time passed with their scrutinizing gazes swept through the area every now and then. Despite their efforts, they couldn't catch any sign of him as if he was not real, to begin with, but they refused to give up like desperate bitches, continuing on with their search. 

Valerius had left behind a shadow when he entered the shadow camp, but it was cleverly concealed beneath the dense foliage of the forest, rendering it invisible to the naked eye. No wonder the group of undead didn't find anything suspicious. 

Coming to the last spot where they had witnessed Valerius vanish in search of clues, the undead found nothing and aimlessly wandered further away. 

Just as they distanced themselves, Valerius emerged from the shadow camp.
