chapter three

After the tea party was over the ladies were all sent home with gifts in their hands. As she was about to enter the carriage she then spots something near her carriage and also then sees a person wearing a black robe with a lot of jewel around it and was thinking it was probably a mage. The mage was named Libus devalverak who really did look like a demon at night, but she was probably was overthinking things and was one of the kings mage he greeted her. Libus said to her as he bowed "Greeting lady iris I presume. You must be the prince fiancé it is very nice to meet you indeed. I have come bearing a gift from his highness to you."

He then hands her a red bracelet that was glowing bright red and she looked at him, and wonder something but accepted it anyways because she couldn't refuse even if she wanted to. He then left as she walked into the carriage and then say something in carved into the bracelet. The bracelet said 'my jewel of life with love Henry Thomas Maou' she was really wondering if it was from the demon kingdom and was also wondering what she was getting herself into.

She then got home and then spotted something in her room that was running around and was wondering if that was a puppy. Her parent's had heard something running around and barking in her room but was too afraid to enter back into her room as they approach it and the dog was about to bite them. She then approaches the puppy as it sensed her and pounced on her and she was about to yell but was then laughing as it was licking her face.

She then reads a letter saying that it wanted her to be his master and family. She then felt like the puppy was one of those legendary dogs that was the most powerful like S-class. She named the puppy night and the puppy barked for joy and was running around the room and was happy. She smiled and picked the puppy up and went to her bed to sleep because it was a very long day. She had a dream about the boy who she had met and sees that he might be in danger and wanted to go safe him but she didn't know how.

She then wakes up and it was morning as the puppy had gone outside into the yard because they couldn't leave the puppy inside the room he would make a huge mess. She agreed that the puppy was dirty so she wanted to clean the puppy up in a bath tub. After that she sees a girl with wings and is young like around five years old and she was flying straight towards her crying. The girl was named Rosa and her brother was named Gideon she explained that he is hurt and from what iris sees is that Rosa was a princess that would make the boy she saved a prince and wondered what happened. She somehow teleported her to where Rosa brother was and hope she is able to save him from getting hurt.

She sees him chained with a magical circle like a binding spell and she sees lashes and a lot of blood she tried to get to him but was blocked looked for ways to break the binding spell and remember a way with his ring that he gave her she pushed hard with all her might even said a spell to make it much easier for her in a way it worked. She ran to him and took the chains off and he fell on top of her as she grabbed him and she healed him. She then hears footsteps and then used a spell of invisibility and sees that it was his baby sister and she broke the door open and sees them and helps carry her brother up to the room and was very angry she wanted to get revenge on whoever did this to her big brother.

He held her hand tight and doesn't let go and took her hand and pulled her to his bed which he hugged her and held her close to him and she was blushing. She hugs him close and is blushing and feels really warm and sun came up and he wakes up and looks down and sees her and kisses her forehead. She wakes up slowly and looks at him and blushes and he smiles at her and was brushed off her hair from her face. She then said "good morning" and he was smiling at her and then his parents rushed in to see if he was okay.

The king and queen looked at their son and her and had a huge grin on their face and both said in unison "Son is there something you like to tell us or better yet who this person may be?" She was hiding under the cover and was rather shy now and their son said "mom and dad this is the girl who saved me her name is iris." She looked up not knowing on what she should say but waves hi. She got up and smiled and got out of the bed while Gideon was holding her hand not wanting to let go.

They looked at the ring and was jumping with joy and smiled and they said "Congratulation on your engagement!" She didn't know what they were talking about and looked at her ring and was wondering if what she was wearing was an engagement ring. She looked at him and he looked at her confused and the queen said "it's an engagement ring that has been passed down and if our son gave it to you then you must be pretty special to him."

She looks at him and blushed red but then she had to also annual another engagement from another prince and looks at him blushing red. He smiled at her and held her hand and was going to have to talk to her parents about marrying her. She was rather happy she could be happy with him and grow old and not sure on what she is going to do now with her engagement with another prince.
