Ryuki let out a sigh of relief as they left the café, finally free from the tension of the earlier bathroom incident. The sun was beginning to lower, casting a warm glow on the streets as they strolled side by side. Despite the awkwardness that had transpired, he couldn't help but smile at the day's events.
It was around four in the afternoon, that strange hour where you could either call it a day or find something else to do to kill a few more hours. Ryuki was torn. A part of him thought about suggesting karaoke—just the three of them in a private room—but before he could say anything, he realized that time might slip away quickly.
