"What a killjoy." John muttered to himself before continuing in a clear voice. "Anyway, VAS have you created a status window yet?"

If John had a physical body, he would have a heart attack. After reading the fourth answer a while later, he felt the pain ease a bit, and he added the rest of the questions.

He discovered that he could answer with a speech bubble, and sent his questions that way.
