I Became a Leader of a New Nation while in Exile

It was supposed to be a new, quiet, and simple life for 15-year-old noble boy Nate Wole, who was kicked out and exiled by his family for being too weak in favor of his older brother, Hertzel, a selfish warrior who cares only about himself and his skills in magic. Desperate, he traveled to the lowlands of Wooda, where while camping, he had an unlucky encounter with one of the collection of tribes of the Undead Animals, a bunch of hostile undead animals who can wield weapons and shapeshift into humans and were despised and hunted by humans. After getting killed by one of them under an Undead lion named Sati, Nate was saved by them after they regretted their decision to kill him, and Sati eventually gave his position as tribal leader to him. Nate was shocked to here that, but he has no choice but to accept it. And now, he is a leader of Sati’s lion tribe. Soon, he united the other Undead tribes under the new country name, Wooda, while studying to be a good leader, and changed his identity to Lloyd Lewole, completely vanishing his old identity in order to forget his past. But, will he handle such a great responsibility?

Chapter 45 - A New Adventurers’ Guild for Wooda

Third person POV

Not long after, the caravan arrived in Lewole, and Westlan became the first one to get off the wagon and saw how busy and urbanized the large town was. It was 4 in the afternoon when he and the caravan arrived there.

"Woah, this is it?" he asked.

One of the merchants then stood beside him. "Yes, this is it. This is Lewole, the capital of Wooda."

Westlan then looked at him. "What? This one?"

"Yes, this town was formerly a tribal settlement for the Undead lion tribe, Dano."

Westlan stood there, amazed. "I did not know that."

"Well," said the merchant while going to the back of the wagon to unload some cargo, "you can go to the leader and ask him for permission to establish your own adventurers' guild here. Me and my friends will stay here for a couple of days for business."

 "Oh, okay then."

Westlan then started going around Lewole to check it out.

Along the way, he saw how lively it was. At this hour, the Undead animals, mostly as humans, go out shopping for food and supplies, among other tradeable goods. Eventually, he became distracted from his main purpose by going around. But he remembered what he wants to do and went to a nearby Undead animal guard and asked him who is the leader of his country.

"Oh, it's the village chieftain," answered the Undead animal guard as he looks at him. "Why?"

Westlan was afraid of him because of his blood red eyes, but not too afraid.

So, he took a deep breath and responded, "I'm here to establish my own guild."

He decided not to include what guild he will be establishing because he assumed that the Undead animals don't know that concept.

"A guild?" the guard replied back.

"Yes," Westlan responded confidently, "and I will be the owner of it."

 "I see, come with me."

Both of them went to the main administrative house, with Westlan being led by the said guard.

Shortly thereafter, they are now outside of Lloyd's office, and the Undead animal guard knocks on the door.

 "Come in," Lloyd responded.

The guard opens the door, and he and Westlan entered in.

Seeing how young Wooda's village chieftain is, Westlan was shocked. "You're the village chieftain here?"

Lloyd and Zeke then glanced at him.

"Oh, hi there, are you a human?" Lloyd asked him positively with friendliness.

"Y-Yes," replied Westlan while still in shock. "Are you that banished noble who became a leader?"

"Yes, he is," Zeke responded on Lloyd's behalf. "He started this country less than a year ago."

 "What? How?"

"Me and the Undead animals are in cooperation to achieve this," Lloyd replied back with a smile.

At this point, Westlan calms down, but was still amazed by his speed of development. "Oh, okay then. So, how old are you now?"

 "I'm 15," Lloyd responded back.

"Wow, you're so young but yet so smart, aren't you?"

 "Yeah, I am."

"I'm more than a hundred years old," Zeke added.

"But you looked like a young adult," said Westlan.

"Yes, but that age is my actual age."

After that, Lloyd asked Westlan what he was doing in Lewole.

"I'm here to establish my own adventurers' guild," answered Westlan with positive confidence, "and I am here to ask you for permission.'

"Woah, an adventurers' guild?" Zeke responded. "You're ambitious."

But, Lloyd, since he was thinking about that as well, agreed to his proposal since he haven't come up with an owner yet. "Okay, we'll help you with that."

Zeke didn't doubt about it because he saw the potentials of having an adventurers' guild in Wooda.
