Chapter 259 Nightmare [Edited]

The next morning.

Sullivan woke up on his bed inside Ai's apartment. He had a nightmare last night. As he rubbed his eyes, Sullivan couldn't shake off the lingering feeling of his nightmare. The vivid images still haunted his mind, leaving him with a sense of dread for the day ahead.

"Why does it have to be fate's world? *Sigh*"

Sullivan muttered to himself, feeling overwhelmed by the weight of his dreams. He knew that in fate's world. A dream always had meaning.

He dreamt that he was inside a reality marble where he fought with the king of heroes, Gilgamesh. Or Angelica Ainsworth.

She called him a mongrel, which wasn't wrong. They fought really hard, and he was the one who won against him. But at what cost?

Sullivan's victory against Gilgamesh came at a heavy price—the loss of his sister, friend, and ally. The guilt and sorrow weighed heavily on Sullivan's conscience, casting a shadow over his sense of accomplishment.

"I won't let anything happen like in my dream."

Sullivan swore to protect the people close to him, determined to prevent the tragic outcome that haunted his dream.

As he was about to get up and face the new day, He then found that Ai was sleeping on his bed. He didn't feel surprised or anything. She might have had a nightmare last night too. and she decided to come and sleep with him.

He smiled at how adorable she was. He couldn't help but pat her head while she was sleeping. Her reaction to his patting was so damn precious!

Sullivan's heart swelled with affection for Ai, grateful to have her by his side. He silently vowed to always be there for her, protecting her from any harm that might come her way. With a renewed sense of purpose, he gently whispered,

"I'll always keep you safe, Ai-Chan."

He won't let anything like the dream happen. He swore with his heart.

After that, he got up from the bed. It was five o'clock in the morning, so Ai could still sleep more before she had to go for her lesson.

"Will she still go to her lesson when she knows that this world is dangerous?"

Sullivan thought she would still go. Even though this world was dangerous. It didn't mean that they were too weak to fight back.

They just need to avoid agitating Alaya and Gaia, and that's all. They won't do anything to them and will probably ignore them.

And about which type-moon this world was. He needed more information about it. He had met Miyu now. It should be fate/kaleid liner prisma illya, right? No, he needed to find Illya first to be sure.

And as he was taking care of his morning business, He heard a sound coming from Ai's room.

Last night, Ai told him that he should let Miyu sleep in her bedroom instead of his.

'She might wake up already and be confused as to how she got here.'

Sullvian walked to Ai's room. He was standing in front of the room. With his senses, he could hear her clearly from behind the door.

'She panicked right now.'

Sullivan thought for a moment before he decided to open the door. And when he opened the door, he was met with a powerful magic attack.

"Hey!"

Sullivan blocked the magic attack easily. He made it disappear like it had never been there before. He looked at Mayu, who was now panicking.

"Where is Onii-Chan?!"

"You mean Shirou Emiya? Sorry, but he isn't here. You have been transported to this world by his wish through the holy grail."

Miyu heard that, then she went silent, and her panic turned into sadness. She looked around, taking in her surroundings. The realization slowly sank in that she had lost only one true family.

She began to cry. She felt like the whole world was crushing down on her. There's no point in living anymore. She didn't want it to be like this. but she remembered Onii-chan's last word. His last wish was that she find true happiness and warmth in this new world.

With a heavy heart, Miyu wiped away her tears. She would honor her brother's final wish and strive to find happiness in this world, no matter how difficult it may be. But she would do her very best.

Sullivan, when he saw how sad Miyu was, could not help but feel sympathy for her. He approached Miyu gently, offering her a comforting smile.

"I understand how hard it must be for you."

Sullivan said softly.

"But don't worry. Even though we just met with each other, believe me, we know about you and your circumstances."

Hearing that, she put on her guard. He understood why she was on guard when he spoke about her circumstances.

Miyu had been through so much and had learned to be cautious with strangers.

Sullivan thought about it a little bit before he spoke to her with honesty. He knew that he should not lie to her because she would know it right away.

"You are the holy grail, I already know that. But I didn't want anything to do with it."

Miyu looked into Sullivan's eyes. She didn't see any deception. It was clear that he was disturbed by it. It was like he said. He really didn't want anything to do with it.

"Why?"

"Let's just say that I didn't want to attract the attention of some beings in this world."

Miyu looked confused, as she didn't know what beings he was talking about.

Sullivan shook his head as he was about to explain more about this world to her, but he heard something coming from her before he could explain.

*Growling*

Her stomach was growling loudly. She might have been very hungry, as she hadn't had a chance to eat anything yet.

Miyu's face went red as she was embarrassed by the sound of her own stomach.

Sullivan chuckled and said,

"Looks like someone needs to grab a bite to eat. How about we find a nearby café and continue our conversation there? I am going to tell you more about this world too."

Sullivan didn't want to cook now. As his cooking was from average to horrifying. He didn't want to take the chance that it would become a biological bomb.

Miyu hesitated a little bit, but she nodded. It wasn't like she had any other choice. She also wanted to know more about this world.

Sullivan then led her to a cozy café that opened early in the morning. And then he started to give her food and then explain to her about this world.
