Chapter 205 Still can't move on [Edited]

Ruby felt her pillow start to shake a little. She couldn't help but slowly open her eyes and yawn. She then tried to make it stop and felt it wasn't soft like it used to be.

"Huh..."

Ruby had tired eyes because of the reading yesterday. She rubbed it, and her vision slowly became clearer.

"Sullivan, why are you in my bed? Is this a dream?"

But as she looked around, she realized that it wasn't a dream. Sullivan was indeed in her bed.

However, Ruby still wasn't fully awake and felt groggy. She tried to sit up, but her body felt heavy and sluggish. It was as if her mind and body were still in a state of sleep.

Sullivan then did what she didn't think he would do. He just pulled her down and spoke.

"Don't worry, this isn't your bed, but my bed. Sleep a little bit more, and you will be fine."

"Oh...Okay hehe"

Ruby didn't reject his offer. Her head still wasn't functioning normally. She continued to sleep in his embrace.

And when she drifted to sleep more. Someone yelled at them.

"What the hell are you do-"

Yang, who woke up seeing Sullivan embrace Ruby, couldn't help but exclaim loudly, but she was muted by Sullivan before she woke everyone up.

Yesterday, she fell asleep after they went back to their room. Her brain was hurting from the classes.

"She sleepwalked to my bed yesterday. Don't think too much of it."

Despite Sullivan's explanation, Yang still felt the need to confront him about embracing Ruby while she slept. She couldn't shake off the feeling of unease and wanted answers from Sullivan.

After a minute or two, Ruby woke up from her peaceful slumber. She stretched out her arms and yawned, feeling refreshed and ready for the day.

Sullivan was still lying next to her, his arms wrapped around her waist.

"Eh...This"

Ruby now noticed that it wasn't her bed but his bed. She quickly pulled away from Sullivan and sat up, feeling embarrassed and confused.

She couldn't remember how she had ended up in his bed or why he was holding her.

"Don't worry. We didn't do anything bad to each other last night. Look, Ai is still here sleeping."

Sullivan reassured her, pointing to his cute little sister, who was sound asleep on his chest.

'Did I sleepwalk again?"

Ruby thought to herself. She had thought that she had stopped sleepwalking long ago, but apparently not. She couldn't shake off the feeling of embarrassment and confusion as she tried to piece together what had happened the night before.

Ai was slowly waking up after Ruby. She yawned cutely and watched them.

"Are your nightmares gone? I told you that Big brother's hug could cure it. I didn't lie to you, did I?"

Ai asked Ruby, who was trying to remember what happened last night.

"W-What happened last night?"

Ruby asked. She didn't remember anything last night.

Ai smiled and began to tell her what had happened.

"Well, you are crying when you sleep, so I woke you up and brought you to Big Brother's bed. We shared his warmth together, so our nightmare was banished!"

Hearing that. Ruby was even more embarrassed. Share his warmth together? She then looked at Sullivan, who was now continuing his sleep. There was still time before the combat class.

She felt her heart beat faster. Ai then got up from bed and looked at her. She had schemed something in her mind right now.

"You need to be thankful for Big brother. He will hug you every time you have a nightmare. Now's the time you have to repay him for his kindness."

"R-Repay? How"

Ai smiled beautifully before dragging her somewhere. Yang was now looking at the two youngest members of the group who walked outside of their room.

'No, Ruby!! Don't fall for her trick!'

Yang knew that Ai was planning something. and she didn't like it. She wanted to go after them, but

"Let them play."

Sullivan stopped her first. He knew what they were doing now. They were just going to the cafeteria to bring him food as a thank-you. That's all.

Yang still wasn't convinced, but when he used magic to make her see what they actually did, it made her stop.

Now she looked at Sullivan. She still had something to ask him.

"Why do you hug her?"

"Because she needs it."

After a brief pause, Yang let out a sigh before continuing her silence. She was the one who knew her sister better than everyone else. It appeared as though she had not yet moved on from the fact that her mother had passed away.
