Weiss was now ready to face the Grimm Professor Port had prepared for the class. She took a deep breath and stepped in front of the cage, her heart pounding with anticipation. As she looked around, she saw that the other students were equally nervous, but Weiss knew that she had prepared well and was ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
Sullivan had now opened his eyes. He looked at the grimm in the cage and knew that it was a boarbatusk.
'So it is still canon, that's good."
Sullivan knew what was going to happen next. and he stayed focused. There was going to be drama between Weiss and Ruby. Even though the two weren't partners, they were still on the same team.
'Will Pyrrha do something about it? She is Ruby's partner now.'
"Go Go Weiss! You can do it!"
Ruby cheered for Weiss, but it did the opposite for her. She didn't need her encouragement. and yelled at her in frustration.
"Shut up! I am focusing!"
Weiss snapped at Ruby, feeling annoyed by her constant cheering. Ruby realized her mistake and decided to stay quiet.
Pyrrha frowned at Weiss, who snapped at Ruby without cause. She was just doing what friends would do. Why did she have to be mean to Ruby like that.
"Don't worry, Ruby. She is just being herself, like usual. She didn't really mean it."
"Really?"
"Yeah, don't take it to heart. I will be very happy if you cheer for me."
"Well. I will cheer for you then!"
"What a beautiful friendship! You two are really good friends, I see."
Ruby heard Sullivan, and she felt shy and smiled. Pyrrha looked at Sullivan and felt the same as Ruby. She didn't know how to respond to that. There was never a boy who didn't care about her like him before.
He was talking to them, but she knew that Sullivan was focusing on Ruby rather than her. He was concerned that what Weiss said might hurt her.
Weiss was ready for the fight with Boarbatusk. Her sword gleamed in the sunlight as she took a defensive stance. She knew that this battle would be tough, but she was determined to come out victorious.
As Boarbatusk charged towards her, Weiss quickly sidestepped and swung her sword. The blade sliced through the air and struck the Grimm, causing it to stumble back. With a smirk on her face, Weiss readied herself for the next attack.
She knew that defeating the Boarbatusk wouldn't be easy, but she had trained tirelessly for this moment. Weiss had studied the Grimm's movements and weaknesses, and she was confident in her abilities to take it down.
But
"No, you can't do that! Its weakness is its belly!"
Ruby suggested it to her, but Weiss was getting more angry and didn't listen to her. She stuck her rapier on its back, and it did nothing to it.
"What!"
Weiss then got pushed back and rolled on the floor. The boar grimm then spun like a ball to attack her. It would be dangerous for Weiss.
Professor Port wanted to intervene, but Someone was already there before him.
'How fast. I didn't remember he would be this fast at the initiation. In fact I didn't remember anything about him...'
Professor Port was suspicious, but he believed in Headmaster Ozpin, so he would let it go. Ozpin told him that he was a good person and would be one. That was how much he trusted Ozpin.
"You should listen to your team leader, Weiss. How disappointing."
Sullivan stopped the boar grimm with his foot on it. It was still spinning, but Sullivan didn't budge a bit. He then used Yamato to slash it and kill it while it was still spinning. It was cut in half and died just like that.
Yamato's cutting power was too much. It ignored the boar grimm defense completely.
"But..."
Weiss wasn't shocked at how he could kill the boarbatusk so easily. He should be, because he is a wizard.
"Don't but me, lady. What you said and did to Ruby was too much. You thought she wasn't good enough to be a leader because she was younger than you? There's no way you can be that petty. Give her a chance to prove herself, will you. Don't be like him."
Weiss was shocked at his statement. She didn't think about it one bit. She knew what "don't be like him" meant.
She then thought back to what she had done.
'Did I...Just'
She now realized what she did wasn't different from what her father did to her. She was going to cry as the thought hit her very hard, but before the tear came out a warm hand patted her head.
"Don't worry, people can make mistakes, all they need to do is just be better."
