Chapter 9 Her hero

Grisha led everyone to Wall Maria.

It was the outermost wall that no one from the noble family would want to come.

The farther the people lived the poorer they were.

There were only commoners, peasants, and low rank lords living here.

"This place looked pretty nice. I like the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere."

Luci checked around the Shiganshina District inside Wall Maria.

He had watched Attack On Titan many times before but seeing it first hand was still making him feel excited.

Seeing him looking around with such excitement made Grisha and Ackerman forget about him being a murderous being that punished the sinner.

He was now just a young man who was enjoying the next experience.

They let him explore around for a bit before Grisha spoke to everyone.

"Please come this way."

Grisha then led everyone to his house.

Grisha's house wasn't big or small but it should be enough for two families to live in for the time being.

"Grisha, Eren. you two are back but what happened?"

Carla, the wife of Grisha and the mother of Eren asked the two of them.

She thought that it was only Grisha and Eren but

They had brought many people with them. 

Grisha then told Carla everything that happened.

She was a good and very understanding wife so She was ready to welcome them.

"Please wait a moment. Why don't you guys just live with me? I am going to buy a house nearby and I think it is pretty big for me to live alone."

Luci looked at Ackerman and his family. It was way better for them to live with him.

The house nearby was as big as Grisha house. 

He was alone so there was a lot of space left.

"Oh and please don't refuse. If you feel bad you can just pay me back when you can. I don't lack money anyway."

"Is it really alright?"

Ackerman asked Luci.

"It is very alright. I don't know how to cook and clean anyway. If you can live with me. I don't have to worry about food and taking care of the house."

"So you mean that you want to hire us as your servants?"

"Not servants, let's say caretakers would fit better."

Ackerman looked at his wife and Mikasa. He wanted their opinion.

Linda said that she would accept anything that he decided.

As for Mikasa. She hesitated a little bit before she gave her father her opinion.

"Otou-san, I think Luci-san is a good guy. We can live with him!"

Mikasa was serious about it. 

Both Ackerman and Linda looked at each other and they grinned.

"So it's that time huh."

"Yes, I didn't think Mikasa would grow up this fast."

Looking at how handsome Luci was. It was no surprise for them that Mikasa might develop a crush on him.

And he even helped them from the slave traffickers.

To her he wasn't different from a hero.

"Then we will be in your care, Lucifer-sama."

"Just call me Luci. Don't be so formal guys."

Eren heard that and he suddenly came between them and said.

"What about me Lucifer-sama!"

"Huh, They are going to live with me so they are family to me."

"You are too cruel, Lucifer-sama!"

Luci liked to mess with a brat like him. He didn't even care that the adults Eren and Zeke might have been watching him.

Luci brought the nearest house. The owner at first didn't want to sell it but when he saw how much gold Luci was willing to pay him.

He accepted immediately.

Not only because the amount could last for his lifetime but Luci must be someone from a noble background.

He didn't want to have a problem with the noble.

"With this. I can keep an eye on both Eren and Mikasa."

All that was left was to find the extraterrestrial titan. 

He didn't know when and where they would appear so he had to be prepared and stay focused all the time.

One week passed by quickly.

Luci started to miss his home. 

This world didn't have anything that could help with his boredom.

Eren usually came and asked him to play with him along with Armin.

Armin was a cute and nice little boy. He dreamt of seeing the sea. Luci couldn't help but tell him about the sea.

He even told him a story about a boy who wanted to be a pirate king.

Armin then became his die hard fan.

He even said that he wanted to be a pirate king as well.

As for Eren. He wanted to be Armin's first mate because three swords was super cool!

He even mimicked Zolo out of his imagination.

"They both are too funny."

Luci watched them play around in his backyard.

Mikasa was sitting next to him. She was now learning embroidery seriously. And her skills were no joke.

She smiled at him and said.

"Luci-san as well. You are really funny when you play with them."

"Is it? Well, I can't help but be funny. It is in my blood after all."

Luci shrugged. He then kept on watching both of them play pirates.

Mikasa looked left and right. No one was watching over her.

She then secretly looked at Luci who was chuckling because of the duo shenanigans.

Her face went a little red before she looked away and tried to calm herself down.

She then focused back on her embroidery. She wanted to give it to him as a thank you gift.

They spent time in their own way until Luci felt something.

He stood up from his chair and looked toward the Wall.

He saw smoke rising toward the sky.

Armin and Eren stopped playing and looked at the wall as well.

"Mikasa-chan, Go to the underground room now!"

Luci didn't waste anymore time. He jumped from the window and ran toward Eren and Armin.

Mikasa knew that something bad must have happened for him to be alert like that.

She did as she was told to because she believed in him.

"You two go to the underground room with Mikasa-chan! I will go and get everyone."

The house that Luci brought had an underground room for wine making. 

He had reinforced it as much as he could for the past week.

He was confident that it could take a serious hit from a titan.

"Let's see if the colossal titan and the armor titan is the extraterrestrial titan or not. Hopefully, they are not."

Luci then ran toward Grisha's house to bring Eren and Mikasa's mother to safety.

As for Grisha and Ackerman. He didn't worry about them.
