Getting late

Arlen looked at his cards and then up at Ravi who had a small smile on his face. "Just...Just how is this possible?"

His eyes were round and filled with shock, Ravi just knew he would be painting this expression over and over again this week.

"Are you saying that you did not think that it was possible for me to win?" he leaned back and looked at him.

Arlen shook his head, swallowing, "I didn't. I didn't say that." But he thought about it. He looked at Ravi and saw that his eyes were bright with mischief. He was enjoying this, that gray seemed to depart from the color of burnt ash to basalt, the gold warmer.

Ravi raised an eyebrow to state that he did not believe him, he sipped the drink which unusually stayed cold, no matter how much time passed.

"Fine. But how...Okay. You won. But I just taught you this right now. You are amazing, Ravi."
