Change Of Identity

The more Cao Xinrui thought about it, the more she hated her. She wanted to bring the army to kill that b*tch, but she was afraid that she would not give her the antidote. She consoled herself, "Anyway, I'll just keep my distance from her. She won't be able to touch me again! If she dares to make a move, I'll run away on the fire dog..."

"You're really good at picking the right time. Did you have to wait until the last moment of the third day? Don't you feel any pain?"

Cao Xinrui kept her distance from Tang Qin. Now that Ding Qingfeng was not here, she was really scared. 

"You b-"

Before she could finish, she saw a black rope on Tang Qin's wrist slowly grow bigger. It was the black snake that was coiling around Tang Qin, baring its teeth at her, as if it was ready to swallow Cao Xinrui up at any moment.

Cao Xinrui still remembered the black snake's ability and did not dare to scold her anymore. She pursed her lips and said, "Enough nonsense, give me the antidote!"

Tang Qin leaned against the back of the black snake and sat on a branch, swinging her legs. She was smiling at Cao Xinrui. Its golden eyes flashed and, moments later, the fire dog carrying Cao Xinrui suddenly let out a cry. It immediately lay on the ground, trembling as if it was threatened by something.

Cao Xinrui was thrown off by her life spirit beast and fell to the ground. Without waiting for her to regain her senses, Tang Qin said, "You want me to give you the antidote? Sure, kneel down and beg me sincerely." 

Tang Qin laughed sarcastically. She looked down at Cao Xinrui, just like how Cao Xinrui used to look down at her from above the arena platform. Tang Qin's eyes were filled with killing intent. The pressure of a ninth-level spirit cultivator made Cao Xinrui breathless.

Cao Xinrui was extremely unwilling. She could accept anyone bring stronger than her, but not this b*tch! However, even the best doctor in the Canglan Kingdom was helpless. No one could cure her poison except this b*tch. She really did not want to die or be disfigured for life.

Cao Xinrui lowered her head. Her face under the veil was so rotten that it looked disgusting. She gritted her teeth and knelt down slowly in front of Tang Qin. Her voice trembled, "I'm sorry! It was my fault in the past. Please let me live!"

Cao Xinrui's trembling was not because of fear, but because she felt utterly humiliated.

Tang Qin looked at Cao Xinrui. Half a year ago, she had been the one kneeling at the latter's feet. She had kneeled before these people for a whole eighteen years! Every day, she would be tortured until she was on the verge of death by these people, before being allowed to recuperate. They would then repeat the process over and over again...

How could Tang Qin not hate her? She had long sworn to take her revenge on her enemies! Tang Qin sneered and threw a box over to Cao Xinrui. Inside it was the soul-summoning pill. 

"Here you go."

Cao Xinrui hesitated. She could not believe that Tang Qin would be so kind as to give her the antidote so easily. Just because she knelt down and begged for mercy? Was there no conspiracy behind this?

Tang Qin laughed.

"Don't worry. You're no good to me dead. I'm still counting on you to get me a new identity in the Canglan Kingdom, so just eat it in peace."

Cao Xinrui's eyes lit up. 

Why did she not think of that? This b*tch clearly wanted to kill her, and she could do so easily now, but she had gone to great lengths to give her the antidote so that she could live. Was this not a request?

Tang Qin saw that Cao Xinrui had yet to eat it and sneered. She took out another pill that was exactly the same and threw it into her mouth. "Take it. See, it won't affect your body!"

Seeing that Tang Qin had already tested the pill on herself, Cao Xinrui believed her words and quickly threw the pill into her mouth. However, moments later, she trembled and felt a heart-wrenching pain. It was as if something was tearing her apart. She screamed at Tang Qin, "You wanted to kill me after all! B*tch, you lied to me!
