1 Prologue

When I opened my eyes, it was snowing. I was facing the sky, clouded and dark as the chilling wind hit me, making me shiver. I found myself laying on snow in a place I couldn't recognize.

In front of me sat a man dressed in strange clothes, face covered with a mask.

"I can't move. What is this feeling?" It was as if I was having one of those sleep paralysis episodes...

I tried to scream, but I couldn't.

I heard the sound of footsteps on metal stairs.

That man got up and took a step at a time before kneeling beside me and whispered

"survive"

The sound of footsteps drew closer and closer as he took out something from his jacket in a hurry and stabbed me with it.

It hurt like hell at first, I thought why is this happening to me. but soon the feeling of pain turned into a warm feeling of being hugged. It felt as if something moved around my body hugging me, but it felt warm, still unable to move. I didn't know what was happening.

Everything got hazy before everything got dark but I was still awake, as the footsteps got closer and close, then I heard loud bangs as I heard the sound of something metal hitting the ground. I don't know what happened after that.

Have you ever had sleep paralysis? It's when you feel you are awake something terrifying is happening to you so you try to move but you can't move at all you try to speak but nothing comes out. Then you open your eyes and you find out it was all just a dream...It was just the same feeling.

When I woke up I was in the hospital, my left forearm had bandages wrapped around it. I was told I was very lucky to be alive, that I had lost a significant amount of blood and have been in a coma ever since coming to the hospital.

The cops came asking what had happened to me? They told me I was found during a routine patrol at night.

In the dark, they had thought someone drunk must be sitting with his legs out on the ground leaning against the advertisement wall at the bus stop. But when they came closer to take a closer look, they saw blood on my shirt and the ground and immediately called for the ambulance.

There was a missing person report of me in another city. So, why was I in another city? They asked me a lot of questions.

What had happened to me? What I was doing here in this city? How did I get stabbed? Who stabbed me? I was questioned a lot but the questioning felt more like an interrogation as it went for hours and hours every day.

But there was only one answer to all the questions, that was "I don't know. I don't remember anything that happened. I don't know how I ended up here? I don't know who stabbed me?" But I knew one thing for sure.

Since the day I went missing and the day I was discovered something had happened and there was one big question? How did I end up at the bus stop? I was sure it was not a dream, that man was not a dream, who was that man? What was his identity?

I sat in my bed gazing out of the window, thinking about what had happened.

The sky changed and there was soon the sound of people screaming as the ground cracked open and all sorts of different things came out of the cracks.

I stood by the window looking at what was happening outside. Buildings went down one after another, as dark smoke covered the city as the fire burned through it.

That's when I felt the vibration and soon I was falling to the ground from the sky. The building was crumbling like a house of cards.

That's when I saw it for the first time. A dragon.

As I fell into the dragon's mouth

I blacked out. I don't know what happened

Next, I was sitting on the ground with small chunks of carcass all around me as it rained blood.

As the world broke into chaos, A New World began.
