Chapter 5: Training Results

(1 and a half years later) (3 year old MC)

We can see a little white-haired boy reading in the back of a car, driven by a man with a beard and white hair.

These are our protagonists, Simon and Blanche

It's been a year and a few months after we left looking for Betty

we have traveled all over the country following the visions that the crown gives me

But we always end up in strange places like snowy forests, deserts, mountains, etc.

they look like in my visions, but in the visions they seem somewhat changed, with various debris, bombs, skeletons and strange creatures

I begin to think that these visions show me the future and that their first warnings about an approaching end were not just hallucinations

In my visions with Betty, I look normal, like before I wore this cursed crown.

Something in the future must have brought me back to normal, until then, I'll just follow the directions the visions give me.

Snapping out of my thoughts, I look in the rear view mirror at my little boy sitting in the back.

After my research on his powers, I came to the conclusion that the crown mutated him indirectly.

It gave him properties similar to what the crown gave me, of course with much less raw power, but with the advantage of preserving his sanity

I have discovered another couple of features in the crown, it seems that my son's great intellect was developed due to a 'great spiritual power'

Looks like I have it too, only it's all used to Boost my Ice powers.

Another new thing I've discovered is my ability to see spirits for a few moments

I've asked Blanche if he could see them too, but it seems he hasn't developed that ability.

This year and 6 months have been quite productive for me, we visited places that I soon recognized from canon, but were untouched

I guess in a thousand years they will look like in the series

It seems that Simon has discovered that it is the spiritual power and he is developing more powers of the crown, such as the vision of the spiritual plane

I'm sure he saw all these places in his visions of his future, that's why we are visiting these places ahead of time.

we even visited a factory of Super Porp, that rare purple drink

And we play Card Wars together, obviously not the futuristic version from a thousand years in the future, just a normal card game that's really fun.

Simon nearly went insane after a 2 1/2 year old easily ripped him apart

I didn't know that I could make such a smug face

Now talking about my training with my powers and my accumulation of knowledge

I have developed my powers to the point where I can freeze more than 5 meters around me, not lethal enough, but it will serve to obstruct and stop enemies for a few moments

When it comes to creating weapons and structures, my control is still very low, everything I create with ice ends up falling apart and is useless for combat or mobility

But now with the good news

My use of my great spiritual power has improved a lot since I was 6 months old, the continuous use of this power for 2 and a half years has made me improve enormously

I can now use my 'full concentration' for an almost indefinite amount of time, which exponentially improves my learning speed

And to finish with my great spiritual power

I have been testing a theory based on one of the special techniques belonging to one of my favorite works, One Piece

The kenbunshoku haki or better known as observation haki

An ability that basically allows you to feel the will or spiritual force that people have and emit

One of the most common uses is to feel the spirits or auras of invisible people who are very far away, around you.

This scope can be extended with practice and other more advanced uses are:

_perceive the power or danger level of people or creatures

_perceive people's emotions and empathize with them

_perceive a person's immediate intentions, allowing you to predict their movements with practice

_see a few seconds in the future, This ability gives the user the ability to see a mental image of what will happen in the immediate future. It seems that the stronger the enemy's killing intent, the easier it is to predict

Knowing the theory of how to use it, I have tried to feel the spiritual power of other people

something I accomplished a few days ago because Simon's spirit power is huge and easy to feel

With this new ability I can feel the people around me, even if I can't see them directly, but my range is only 5 meters

It seems that my spiritual power is connected to my ice powers

I'm going to need a lot of practice if I want to keep developing these skills.

Now about my magic talent not unlocked yet

I haven't been in contact with magic yet, Simon won't let me see the Enchiridion, so I'll have to wait a little longer for that

And lastly, my store of knowledge

Thanks to my improvement in the use of 'full concentration', I was able to learn a great deal of knowledge this year and a half.

Among all the knowledge I have accumulated are:

_hunting and survival

_sewing and elaboration

And finally

_mechanics and repair

Being such extensive knowledge, I could only study these in the time of a year and a half

Not bad for a three year old (I'm not at all presumptuous)

My physical training will start when I turn 6 to avoid damaging my early growth

I think this is a good summary of this year and a half

Another plan I have is to learn to use an instrument to pass the time

Now that I'm part of the Adventure Time universe, being a singer-songwriter is practically a must.

Not that I'm complaining, I always loved all the songs in the series

With those thoughts and plans in my head, I closed my eyes and allowed sleep to consume me as our car continued on its way.
