The world seemed to twist and turn, breaking apart into thousands of fragmented pieces before his vision momentarily turned blank... 'Huh?!' Spear god's shocked eyes darted around as he realized standing behind him was a perfectly intact Saber.

There wasn't any caved-in chest, nor was there a body riddled with holes from his previous attack as a mocking smile was ever present.

Confusion overtook spear god as he realized, the one whom he had just killed with a single attack, had somehow appeared behind him and stabbed him through the back!

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk, and to think I was praising you for keeping your cool and suppressing your emotions throughout the battle. Human sins truly are one horrible thing... Arrogance for you, this was your true downfall..!"

Puchi!

Yanking the sword out of the spear god's chest, Saber shook his head. With a calm smile present, he grabbed him by the neck. Preventing Spear God from descending, Saber then grinned even wider.

Crunch!

His incredible grip strength crushed Spear God's neck. Blood and matter exploded outward as Saber's lips trembled ever so slightly... His voice rang throughout his surroundings.

"Devour!"

Boom!

A mini explosion took place in the skies as a dark purple aura surrounded everything in a one-hundred-mile radius. The skies and the land, everything was devoured with no exception.

An instant later, as everything cleared, in the surrounding one-hundred miles, a massive abyss that spanned one hundred miles in width and an unknown depth appeared.

The space was torn to shreds as the void quickly regenerated. Though everything returned to normal in a mere couple of seconds, a lone humanoid figure millions of miles away was still frozen in shock.

"No wonder... So this is his ticket to coming out alive against... no, not coming out alive but instead using soo many Golden Immortals to skyrocket the boy's strength. But, surely, there must be some downside... The world is fair, the stronger the person he devours, the stronger the downside should become!"

Still saying this, his eyes didn't show the least bit of apprehension but more excitement. For him, this show was getting more and more interesting as he stuffed his mouth with more and more popcorn while secretly complimenting his intelligence...

'Only I understand when to and not to fight for rewards given by Hell's Rulers... Only I am smart enough to see through their words... Only I...'

...

...

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A flurry of explosions rang in his surroundings originating from inside his body. Saber smiled happily upon feeling the power now coursing through his veins as each of his cells was invigorated by the massive amounts of energy contained in Spear God's body.

"Pinnacle Level 9 Profound Immortal..!"

Mumbling this, his eyes were fixated on the palms of his hand. On it, he was lifting a glowing mirror with multiple cracks on them. This mirror... it was the mysterious treasure used by Spear God and the only thing which allowed Spear God to keep up with Saber's strength.

"Heavenly Treasure." From Spear God's memories, this was what it was called. A Heavenly Treasure, something that was of a higher level than that of a Top Tier Treasure.

'It could change shape and form and can amplify one's strength in exchange for the user's longevity. The reason Spear God didn't want to use it wasn't due to his pride as a Spear wielder but, it was due to the price he'll need to pay for using this...'

Saber's face changed when reaching this point. 'If one doesn't have enough lifeforce, one would turn into an aged skeleton if they're to use this...'

'But, if one does have the necessary amount of longevity, they'd be able to do mystical things. Due to this, he was even able to reverse the force of my attack back to my hand and even amplify his own attacks!'

'He didn't have enough life force to sustain it, otherwise, my attack when he fell into my illusions wouldn't have pierced him. Well, it's not as if one could have an infinite amount of life force to continuously supplement the thing... right?'

A grin that reached each ear, etched itself on Saber's face. A mysterious aura escaped Saber's body as the Heavenly Treasure began absorbing it. At a rate visible to the naked eye, the many cracks on the mirror slowly healed.

'It's a pity that I needed to damage it to kill that man but, with my neigh endless amounts of life force, it'll heal. Even if my life force isn't enough, with the ability to constantly evolve... I'm sure I'll have enough.'

Xiu!

"Little brat, it isn't safe for a mere Profound Immortal to hold on to such a treasure. Hmm... there are some unsavory people in this world, who knows what they'll do when seeing you with such an item? Murdering you would be the most likely outcome."

Oh!

Saber, who was busy healing the new weapon that he was just given, suddenly felt his senses heightened as his face turned cold. This lasted for an instant before returning to his previous calm and smirking persona, it returned soo fast that even the figure who now appeared was unable to perceive it!

"What did you say?" With a look of confusion, Saber turned around and met with the bright amber eyes that stared right into his... "This was given to me by my late friend. He was humble and kind to me. We shared a deep heartfelt relationship so when he suddenly gave this to me before he died, I understood it was an important treasure..."

Tears welled up in Saber's eyes as he said this. He was still in the mourning faze, "But, who'd have thought it was such a heavenly treasure that others would kill for."

The woman who just appeared had on a golden robe with yellowish gold long fluttering hair in the wind and pupilless golden eyes. She was a truly seductive and enticing angel capable of making any man burn with desire.

Hearing such a saddening story, even she felt her heartstrings tugging ever-so-slightly... "Well hear this, how about you come with me." Letting out a dazzling smile, as if the air itself was a platform to walk on, she slowly made her way in front of Saber's figure.

Taking a good look at him, she thought, 'He is...' For the first time, she felt as if she had met someone who was a few levels higher than even her in terms of beauty. She was momentarily shocked.

Seeing her dazed expression, Saber showed a sad smile, coupled with his teary eyes, no matter how stone-cold a woman was, there wasn't any way they could resist the boy's current appearance.

Unluckily for him, as an Immortal cultivator, she had an unbelievable level of Willpower, so even in his current state, though any mortal woman would overheat, in her presence, his trickery was dialed down to the bare minimum.

Staring into his eyes, her gaze slowly turned cold, "I said, why don't you come with me? I'll protect you from now on." Bringing her face closer, she saw Saber's expression freeze. Smirking internally, she brought her face so close that Saber felt her hot breath, even hearing her heartbeat!

Ah!

Saber's eyes widened when he suddenly found their lips sealed. As someone or thing whose soul and his body were one, internally, his thoughts were frigid and calculating as he felt a mysterious force pervade his body.
