Thud!

Falling to his knees, he clutched his chest while grimacing in pain.

Oblivion's brows tightened as he experienced both pain and confusion...

'Why...' He thought, 'Why is this hurting soo much?!'

The pain he felt from the wound running across his chest, pained him greatly, beyond anything he had experienced before.

Of course, he had received worse wounds well, not him but in his memories and experiences when he was Saber.

Being eaten alive, or being burnt to a crisp till his skeleton was the only thing left, such experiences brought about a situation where Oblivion's and Saber's willpower were leagues above many others in the same realm but...

Right now, it felt as if his soul was being torn apart, and to top it off, it wasn't like his wrist which he sliced off yet had already healed by 70%.

The wound he received from Xavier's attack refused to heal...!

If a capable person watched from afar, they'll realize a great amount of energy was currently being sucked toward Oblivion's location.

Sadly, Oblivion was unable to sense worldly energy due to his differences, hence, he was unable to realize how wrong his current predicament was!

"Hahaha... I bet you didn't expect this, you bastard!!!"

Suddenly a voice resounded in his surroundings! A few meters away to be precise as the head of his opponent, Xavier, released a blinding light from all its orifices...

BOOOOMMMM!!!

THRUM!!!!

...

(Three Days Later)

...

Xiu!

Faster than the eyes of normal people can see, a large object zoomed across the dark skies at incredible speeds.

Sitting on top of it, was a tremendous beauty as even though most of her features were covered by a thin white veil, simply her aura would leave any man with butterflies.

She sat in a meditative position as her ride chased after another flying projectile with a figure sitting on it. He had ashy grey hair and wrinkled skin with a pair of black eyes and silver pupils but unlike her, this man had serious injuries across his body as ever so often he'll cough a mouthful of blood..!

His old body coupled with his now pale skin and dark tones under his eyes made it seem as if he'll soon meet the embrace of death due to the ruthlessness of time.

Tch!

"Woman! Why don't you spare this old man and stop being soo unreasonable...?!" His aged voice resonated with his surroundings as if he was the world itself yet his current predicament made it painfully obvious that it wasn't the case.

The woman sitting on top of a large blue dragon didn't reply as she slowly crept closer to the man, causing his fear to increase along with his anger...

He was angry at himself!...

If he wasn't soo lustful, seeing such a beauty that made him experience love at first sight...

If just if, but now it was too late to regret and he was about to pay for the misdeeds of his past self.

But, just as the blue dragon had reached merely meters away from him...

It stopped!!!

At that moment, due to the speeds they previously traveled at, he had already passed tens of thousands of kilometers in that instant.

Even if she wanted to catch up to him again, it'll take a few more days since her dragon wasn't much faster than his flying treasure.

Sigh!

"I don't know why she suddenly stopped but, it's best not to meet that bitch again!" The old man said with a bitter smile on his face. Though he felt anger, he was weaker than that woman, soo much so that he couldn't even scratch her when they had fought.

...

"Hmm..."

High above in the clouds, a pair of cold light blue eyes stared down at the massive crater down below.

The thing was hundreds of kilometers as everything was swallowed by it but, her eyes peered into the pit and at the bottom as even though it was incredibly dark, she was unhindered, for this was how powerful she was.

What she saw was a massive wasteland filled with molten rocks and lava!

It was an apocalyptic sight straight from the depths of hell as her attention wasn't on this or on the sword that had remained standing tall and embedded into the ground but, on the bare body of a boy with short white hair and otherworldly features.

This boy had features capable of putting shame upon the names of any heavenly beauty but it didn't matter how attractive he was since his life seemed to be on the line.

On the right side of his, there was a massive wound that would have stretched to the left side and where his heart was but, his left chest... It was missing! A gaping hole was the only thing present as it was a wonder how he was even alive.

His clothes were tattered as only pieces of his clothing remained on his body and white blood covered his whole figure. And even with intense and hot rivers of lava, his wounds didn't show any signs of cauterization.

Even with all this though, the most eye-catching thing was the pair of large pitch-black pupils staring at the skies making one wonder if he was now a corpse.

THRUM!

Staring into those eyes, the female with long fluttering blue hair was instantly left confused.

"Huh?! I can only see his cultivation through his soul. Not only that but... he is merely an Earth Immortal!!!?"

Her confused voice resonated in her surroundings as if the one true goddess of this snowy land as the blue dragon she sat on began to descend into the massive crater.

"Any Earth Immortal would die simply from spending time in the frigid colds of this land, much less from coming in contact with the lava of the Core yet..."

She muttered as the blue dragon descended lower into the pit.

"Though his wounds aren't healing, as if prevented by something, it isn't worsening either and even without a heart, he's still breathing!"

THRUM!!

Interesting...

It was only due to something this interesting, did she stop chasing after an old pervert.

All her desire to kill the old man faded in the instant her eyes laid on something this interesting.

Before long, she had appeared at the bottom of the crater on top of her blue dragon that levitated over the river of lava as she waved her hand.

At that moment, a blue aura wrapped around the boy, and the sword as the two objects slowly made their way to the top of the dragon's head where the blue-haired woman sat.

"Fufufu, to think I'll meet with something soo interesting... A mix-breed Human Earth Immortal cultivator whose cultivation I can sense only by peering into his soul." She paused as she glanced at the humanoid mystery treasure that she was lucky enough to encounter.

"Not only that but, he can survive without his heart, though, it does seem as if he's in a coma which is probably due to the missing heart..!" Her voice was unable to contain the excitement as a feeling that she hadn't felt in a long time, once more welled up in her heart.

...

...

Somewhere else, a pair of scarlet eyes own by a figure who seemingly led tens of figures behind him deeper into the forest, with what seemed to be a tablet device that beeped at times.

"We're close, I presume that in a few weeks the radar will be able to sense it...!" He said while thinking, 'In a few weeks, even Golden Immortals wouldn't have the capability to scare me!!'
