Extinction (4)

They crossed this distance instantly if one used the time to assess. So for others, the moment their figures were seen being sent flying across the skies, was the moment their fists clashed for the second time.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

A continuous and consistent amount of explosions took place. Oblivion and the green-haired prime immortal exchanged moves. Each collision caused the earth thousands of feet below to tremble as if an earthquake of high magnitude was taking place.

These tremors reached to the group of prime immortals who saw the battle, along with the other group of resistance to Oblivion's rise, and finally, Orion, Dawn, and the others.

"Why is he choosing to fight like this... Isn't that prime immortal's element solely focused on physical power?" Liam watched Orion, the only being here who could see the battle with utmost precision and was actually on their side.

"Well, there is the fact that his sword is busy with its troubles..." Orion casually pointed at the lone levitating sword that was struck by a boundlessly powerful bolt of black lightning.

Someone with a good eye would see that cracks were forming on the blade of the sword. Though minimal, these were still cracks.

"Anyway, besides this, there's also the curiosity to try out new things. Whether it be experiencing battles or simply testing the limits of that mysterious ability.

The Creator is like a newborn after re-awakening his memories. Compared to his first life, the time he's been alive in this world, this amount of time is soo minimal that he was practically still a fetus...

This is as understandable as I can explain it for you to understand." Orion conveyed. His calm voice entered the surroundings ending the confusion of Cecelia, Liam, and Henry as Dawn coldly glanced at Orion seemingly annoyed by something only he knew off.

BOOM!

Another apocalyptic explosion occurred as the prime immortal facing off against Oblivion was sent flying away. So to was Oblivion but this time, there was a massive change in the course of this battle.

Unlike the prime immortal who recoiled several miles, Oblivion was only sent hurdling a couple of miles. Though one can argue that this change was minimal, in a battle of this magnitude, this was a change that could decide the outcome.

Coming to a stop much faster than the prime immortal, Oblivion rushed toward the still-hurdling green-haired titan as he appeared practically instantly above the gigantic body that was now littered with wounds that refused to heal.

As if the titan of a man could see his movements, upon Oblivion's appearance, the eyes of the green-haired immortal bulged wide. A fist covered in the mist covered and devoured the space between its destination which was to the prime immortal's face.

Seeing this fist, the prime immortal felt something in his heart for the first time in this fight as though normal injuries, even the explosion of the skull wouldn't result in a guaranteed death, for some reason, injuries incurred by Oblivion didn't do such actions, but instead refused to heal.

With a fist owned by Oblivion that exploded his head, the only result of such an event was quite obvious in his mind and the mind of the one person who saw this, Orion. Once this first landed, the only thing that would happen was...

Death!

The green-haired prime immortal's muscles twitched as he tried to dodge the incoming attack that threatened to end his long life... But, it was as if he had lost such an ability. His gigantic bulky body seemed to have suddenly gained the weight of trillions of galaxies as every muscle refused to listen to his brain's nervous system.

BOOM!

Oblivion's fist covered by mist landed. Colliding with the bulky immortal's face, the crunching sound of bones and teeth being pulverized momentarily resounded before being canceled off by a mysterious negative force that negated everything, including sound.

Crushingly powerful, Oblivion's right fist penetrated past the skin and bones and into the mushy brain of this prime immortal at the peak of the realm.

Puchi!

Appearing on the other side of the green-haired prime immortal's head was the right fist of one particular being. Unlike Oblivion, his opponent, this bulky immortal practitioner constantly weakened throughout the battle due to his accumulation of wounds.

Due to this simple fact, he lost the battle to Oblivion who remained at the same level throughout, neither did his strength raise nor did it drop... His performance was steady and remained for the whole fight.

As blood sprayed, each drop would then be enveloped by a mysterious force that negated their very conceptual existence in the outside world as they were instantly erased from existence with this same force slowly penetrating the depths of this prime immortal's body and soul.

What he faced here wasn't merely death but true annihilation. Even with special techniques like the one learned by Saber's first master, or Saber's very own special ability acquired through the element of reincarnation, in the face of Oblivion's annihilation that pulverized both body and soul, the chance of his survival using these techniques and abilities were insanely low...

Puchi!

Yanking his hand back out from the prime immortal's skull, Oblivion watched on coldly as the body of this prime immortal dropped to the ground. Falling several thousand feet, it suddenly came to a halt under the suction force originating from a certain item belonging to Oblivion...

"Go now. Join your sister as my sword's nutrients and help it surpass this tribulation." Oblivion wiped the white blood that dripped from his nose with a smirk. Seeing the once-present cracks in the sword dissipate due to the sudden empowerment by the prime immortal's body, Oblivion felt much better, not that his mood was bad in the first place.

But, he was enjoying this. Only two beings had been killed by his hands. One was a Prime Immortal of the lowest level whereas the other was a Prime Immortal of the highest level. Both fell in his hands. He enjoyed this blood-pumping feeling.

Not much so the first battle. Such ended too quickly. But the second battle was exciting for him as he bled for the first time since awakening the memories of Pure-Heart. It was like a special occasion for the current him.

"I want a battle like that again. But, if I battle Prime Immortals, it wouldn't be the same... As each battle passes, I grow stronger, soo much stronger that I can't battle someone of the same major realm. Hmm..." Oblivion hummed in both anticipation and regret.

But soon his eyes lit up as he peered down at the beings below. "I wonder, will fighting every one of them at the same time be capable of making me bleed? Or maybe... This fellow..." Oblivion released a wide grin reaching each ear as his gaze landed on a particular person.

Said person carried an aura that was different from the rest. Unlike the golden immortals and prime immortals, his aura was much stronger. But, unlike Orion, a True Immortal, his aura couldn't compare to that mysterious and boundless feeling.

This being, he was a Pseudo True Immortal, and he stood on opposite sides of Oblivion and his goal to become Pure-Heart once again. Though he did, there wasn't a possibility for him to have rid the world of Oblivion because Orion was present.

Though this being wasn't suppressed like the Prime Immortals by Orion's aura, he who had gained insight into the next realm understood that Orion's strength wasn't something he could calculate against.
