Earth Immortal Freak (8)

The young-looking man had a fan in hand, covering his face. He had the attire and aura of a refined young noble scholar with long black hair and black eyes, seemingly unable to even harm a fly. But, his eyes revealed his perverted thoughts when staring at Oblivion's figure.

Xiu!

Oblivion didn't have the usual presence of a living being. For example, when a normal person was stared at, although they wouldn't know who it was, they'll still feel as if they're being watched but, if it was Oblivion staring at them, there wouldn't be such a sensation.

It was as if he was alive yet not alive at the same time. This concept worked the same with his incredible strength. While others raise their aura and grow stronger, it was impossible to know if and when Oblivion suddenly rose to his peak strength... he had no aura after all.

When one entered their elemental form, one's aura would normally spike. Even if one doesn't sense the other party's aura, most time, just their eyes would show that they had entered their elemental forms but, again, Oblivion didn't have any of that.

Oblivion didn't have an elemental form... no, more like, he was always in his elemental form... To top it off, he lacked an aura, a presence, and energy. When releasing his Domain, no one was able to even sense that something was wrong. Completely unaware of their fates..!

It was due to this that, even after releasing his Domain the moment that these figures had appeared already surrounding him, they still had the composure to arrogantly speak and even look at Oblivion with eyes that seemed to be looking at an already inanimate object, someone who was already dead.

The young-looking man with a fan in hand had an arrogant smirk etched on his face as he stared down Oblivion's body revealing the eyes of a predator, of someone who had just caught sight of a delicious tender, and juicy meat.

But, it was at this moment that he suddenly felt something clawing at his heart. His battle sense that was honed from thousands of battles in his long life flared in an instant. It wasn't just him but the other Pseudo Golden Immortal also felt as if something was wrong.

Xiu!

The sound of the wind being parted entered the ears of the alarmed duo. They had already been on alert the moment Oblivion's body had twitched ever so slightly. Oblivion's muscles tensed, it was imperceptible to even Profound Immortals due to the level at which it trembled.

But, this sudden occurrence only further alerted the two Pseudo Golden Immortals. It was just that, Oblivion's strength and agility were something that they couldn't have ever expected from a Profound Immortal.

The process from the two Pseudo Golden Immortals seeing Oblivion's muscles suddenly twitch, to their brain processing the information of something bad about to happen, to said brain then commanding their bodies to move via their nervous system, it was just enough time for Oblivion to cross a couple of hundred meters with the sword in hand and stab into the young man's body.

Luckily, for this young man, he was also able to somewhat react. His body moved ever so slightly, making it so that it was his left arm that was stabbed instead of his heart.

Oblivion didn't wait, even though his sneak attack failed, he instantly retracted his sword, causing blood to spurt out the wound, before immediately swinging it in the air once more! The sword passed through the wind, slicing it asunder, and rushing toward the young man's neck.

Peng!

Suddenly, blocking his sword's path was an indestructible staff. It glowed in a greenish light as Oblivion suddenly felt an incredibly powerful fist land on his stomach...

Urgh!

Ahh!

Oblivion coughed up a mouthful of white blood as his eyes almost bulged out but, seemingly moving in slow motion, before these droplets of white blood could even travel a distance away from his lips, Oblivion felt countless more punches land on his stomach, shoulder, chest, and chin!

Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!

Countless muffled explosions took place in the span of a few fractions of seconds. The second Pseudo Golden Immortal had stopped Oblivion's sword with his staff, while in that same instant, the young-looking man had sent tens of punches toward Oblivion.

Boom!

Oblivion's body crashed into a nearby tree, blasting straight through said tree before crashing into more nearby trees. Seeing this, the city lord's sister along with the tens of Profound Immortals who had surrounded Oblivion were left unmoving, truly in utter shock because...

They saw jack shit of what had just taken place.

Utterly clueless, the city lord's sister turned her attention toward the two Pseudo Golden Immortals next to her. She was even more confused by the fact that the staff user was now on her right side, next to the young man.

"Bloody bastard!" The young man shouted in anger. The wound on his upper left arm still spurted blood, refusing to heal no matter how much Sagely energy he coated over the thing.

"What happened?!" The city lord's sister asked, her tone trembling ever so slightly when a thought entered her mind. "It's just like what Young Mistress Ariel thinks, the bastard attacked us and injured me. Luckily, Luard was close by, otherwise, my neck would have been severed by now!"

Shhhhh!

Hearing his confirmation, all those nearby widened their eyes in shock and fear. Darting their gaze toward the long dirt trail that led to Oblivion's body which slowly got up from the ground, these Profound Immortals didn't gloat when seeing his sorry state... no, endless fear radiated from their eyes upon seeing the handsome freak.

'If it was me he had attacked, I'd have died without knowing how I died..!' Including the city lord's sister, Ariel, all the Profound Immortals thought such.

This...

It was simply too scary for them to comprehend. Grabbing the hilt of his sword, Oblivion suddenly let out a chuckle when sensing the atmosphere. Even with his current wounds... a few fractured ribs, two broken ribs, and probably a busted lung... he was calm and smiling.

"Why stare at me like that... It's as if you've just laid eyes on the devil in his full glory. Come on, a group of Profound Immortals along with two Pseudo Golden Immortals are soo scared of a mere Earth Immortal brat... no one would believe it."

Thrum!

Once more, an even more deafening silence descended. Some were confused, doubt clearly shown on their faces when Oblivion mentioned him being an Earth Immortal.

"How stupid do you think us to be..." That is what they wanted to say but, for what reason would Oblivion even bother lying? So, this was the truth...

Ahh!

An Earth Immortal Freak!

No, even freak wasn't enough to distinguish how monstrously freakish Oblivion was... an abomination of the absolute highest order!

"Anyway, let's get back to the battle..!" The eyes of the two Pseudo Golden Immortals lit ablaze upon hearing Oblivion's words and seeing his muscles tremble once more. The young man was already in his martial arts stance, and so too was the staff wielder.

But...

Puchi!

Instead of rushing toward the young man and Luard, Oblivion's sword gleamed with bloodthirst as it parted the air. The skies turned red and the sound of fleshing being torn apart resonated within the vicinity.

The blade in Oblivion's hand quenched its thirst with the blood of multiple Profound Immortals, and in an instant, several fell..!
