A Smart Choice?

"Surpass...the...barrier...Haha, a mortal can't possibly do such a thing. Do you not know what will happen if your current 0.9% comprehension of Primordial Chaos becomes 1.0%?" He asked.

Shaking his head from side to side, all the Sabers looked at Goldy with confusion.

"Ahh, you don't know. Okay, it's okay...I'll tell you." He said as he then exaggeratedly pointed toward Saber as he said while creating the picture of an explosion.

"You'll go bye-bye... Boom Explosion. Your body will be obliterated by the uncontrollable energy surging through your body. After all, your body is still comparable to a mortal's." He said while exaggeratedly flaring his hands.

Seeing his master's annoyingly specific explanations, Saber ignored him and he instead asked something that went on to confuse Goldy.

"Goldy, let me ask. Are the other-selves clones of myself, or are we all separate entities that simply look and think similar?"

"Hmm, it is as you said. Every one of the Sabers in front of me is a different entity that shares a connection in some way or another. But, at the end of the day, you all are separate entities." Goldy said. And even though he wasn't sure why Saber asked, he still answered like the perfect master he thinks he is.

A smile then formed on the emotionless face of the scarred Sabers as both turned their gaze toward each other and then toward their master.

"Master, did you not say my body strength is holding me back? Well, you see, recently I had acquired a certain skill that allows for me to devour others and add their strength to mine, and the entities in front of me are perfect for getting stronger without even needing to fight."

Thereafter, a Saber walked toward the scarred duo as it allowed the scarred duo to place their hands on their shoulders. Right after, Saber's master watched gob-smacked as the two scarred Sabers went on to devour their counterparts.

The more Sabers that were devoured by Saber, the quicker the two scarred Sabers' had their scar healed as soon, there were only three more remaining as the two scarred Sabers then said.

"Well, we should get back to what we were doing, after all, we need to create more clones." They said. The two original Sabers who looked like the exact carbon copy of each other were brimming with destructive power coursing through their body.

Gazing at his palms, Saber smiled for the first time. Even though he had a dazzling smile, his eyes never changed from their hollow and bored look as Saber mumbled.

"With this strength, I should be the absolute pinnacle Half-step immortal in existence. But, I think I should create more clones and devour their strength until I reach the absolute limit of strength that is possible..."

Seeing all this in both shock and even fear, Goldy on the other hand could only wonder...

'H-How strong would he be...when he enters the Immortal realm!...'

"It seems master has finally begun thinking like a member of my race!" Zeno said. His body floated through an empty white space that seemed to span for an infinite length. There wasn't anything such as walls or a ceiling nor was there a floor, it was just an infinite whiteness as Zeno was the only thing that could be seen.

His body seemed to be a mere speck of dust in this massive infinite whiteness, yet, anyone who ever gazed into this whiteness would not be lost in the infiniteness of this mysterious place, but instead, the aura that radiated off of Zeno's body.

Even though he had his eyes closed and seemed to be lazing around, the aura that radiated from the void-like hole on the left side of his chest could freak any entity to their death.

It was a hole that felt as if it was trying to suck any and everything in existence, and Zeno's expressionless face painted a somewhat odd-looking scene that for some reason, would send shivers running across one's body.

He then leisurely raised his closed fist toward the infinite whiteness hovering over his body as he raised his index finger and pointed it toward the void-like hole in his chest as he mumbled.

"Oh master, even with your current mentality, it still isn't enough.

Even now you still haven't accepted true despair and darkness. You still haven't accepted the one true power of our race and instead, use that weak Primordial Chaos.

To truly reach the level to successfully return our race to our rightful place, you still have a lot of things to learn. Not just about mindset and power, but our race's true origin and true name..."

He said while still pointing at the void-like hole in his chest!!...

(Planet Earth Exosphere) (Six Days Later)

"So, is this the so-called outer space?!" Saber asked while standing in front of a window that showcased the starry space. But, right after asking...

*Rumble*

The flooring of the disk-shaped space vessel shook as Borden's friend then went on to say.

"Yes, with that, we have left earth's exosphere and entered space!..."

Gazing at the colorful space filled with many shining dots, Saber couldn't help but marvel at its beauty as he mumbled under his breath.

"Yes, this is it. My true goal...the goal of seeking the unknown!!" For once, his eyes shone with life when seeing the many unknown things he had yet to discover in the vast expanse of space. The many battles and the many different living creatures.

"So, are we first going to the planet that I asked, or are you people going to fight me now." Saber said. His hollow eyes caused the Immortals to shockingly feel a shiver run up their spine.

Saber knew these Immortals had planned to get rid of him since they had ordered him to appear with all of his clones.

That's why one can see in a room that was surrounded by glass which showcased the outer space, six figures looked like the carbon copy of each other.

Perceiving Saber's distrust, the friend of Borden then said.

"We do not plan to fight you to the death. If we could cooperate properly with you, then we wouldn't mind one bit."

After planning for a whole week, it seemed that the Immortals decided to try and form some sort of agreement with Saber. Well, at least this is what it seemed to be.

Hearing this, Saber smiled while exiting the room. The doors opened automatically as all six began exiting.

"A smart choice made by you humans. Commendable, otherwise your planet that isn't all that far away from here would have been destroyed. A cunning move to prolong our inevitable battle. Sadly, prolonging it isn't good for you either...hehe, you truly found yourself in a pickle."

Saber said to the confused Immortals. He then approached the room he was assigned to. Inside it, all Sabers sat in a circle as they began training in what they were created to train in. Three focused on mental battles that they did in the past 9 weeks inside the Black Ring.

The other three focused on trying to peer into the secrets of Primordial Chaos as they drew infinitely close to breaking the barrier. Even then, when the barrier seemed to be at its most flimsy state, the trio, along with many others who resided inside the black ring were unable to destroy it.

Almost robotically, as if they were programmed so, they attacked the barrier in hopes of eventually somehow destroying it...
