The Volcarona, enveloped in flames, dragged its fiery tail and rapidly flapped its wings, soaring into the sky until it reached the same altitude as the Vivillon.

As Volcarona ascended, Vivillon spun its body and began an elegant dance, with its aura gradually rising.

Unlike the dazzling Quiver Dance of Volcarona, Vivillon was surrounded by simple Flying-type energy, yet it exhibited grace and agile movements, possessing a different charm from Volcarona.

After completing a round of enhanced Quiver Dance, Volcarona's six wings vibrated, releasing a torrent of scorching flames accompanied by countless fiery streaks that fell from the sky like a meteor shower.

Following Volcarona's use of Fiery Dance, Vivillon's wings suddenly surged with Flying-type energy. White lines formed by Flying-type energy, controlled by Vivillon, entwined around the flames shot by Volcarona.

The moment these white threads of wind wrapped around the flames, it was as if gasoline had been poured on them, causing the flames to surge and the flickering tongues of fire to distort the air, greatly amplifying the power of Fiery Dance.

These white wind threads were created by Vivillon's Gust move.

During this time, although Vivillon hadn't found a compatible move to pair with its Quiver Dance, continuous experimentation with various Flying-type moves had allowed it to gain precise control over Flying-type energy.

Through its basic Gust move, Vivillon could convert Flying-type energy into various forms for manipulation, whether it be wind lines or razor winds, Vivillon could handle them effortlessly.

While Gust was a basic move, under Vivillon's precise control, it could still unleash formidable power.

In its quest to find a Flying-type move that complemented its Quiver Dance, Vivillon had sought advice from Dragonite's mother in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark, observed the flight patterns of Beautifly and Dustox in the Shallow Seashore Sub-Ecopark, and trained alongside Honchkrow leader and Swellow leader in the Grassland Sub-Ecopark. Yuga also accompanied Vivillon to observe the training of Bellossom.

Although it had found a suitable move that matched its Quiver Dance, both Yuga and Vivillon had realized that, in terms of enhancement principles, Volcarona's Fiery Dance and Bellossom' Grassy Terrain were different.

Volcarona's rapid enhancement principle involved swiftly gathering and absorbing freely floating Fire-type energy from the air while using Fiery Dance, then inhaling it into its body.

On the other hand, the enhancement principle of Bellossom' Grassy Terrain was not about gathering freely floating Grass-type energy from the air.

Terrain moves were unique in that they generated attribute energy within the terrain itself, and sometimes, their strength could be weakened or enhanced depending on the environment in which they were used.

The terrain moves inherently contain much more attribute energy than the freely floating attribute energy in the air, which is why Bellossom's use of Quiver Dance to enhance its power is faster than Volcarona's Quiver Dance.

Hearing Yuga's playful comment, Vivillon bashfully hid behind Volcarona's large wings for a while before finally flying in front of Yuga with a flushed face.

He knew that while Vivillon had independently visited other Flying-type Pokémon before, its ability to think independently wasn't as advanced as his own, so there might have been some oversights.

Yuga hoped that by observing how other Flying-type Pokémon used their moves, they could find inspiration.

Vivillon nodded happily. Lately, it had been spending more time with Yuga than with the other Pokémon, and it was quite pleased with that.

Yuga and Vivillon first headed to the Shallow Seashore Sub-Ecopark, where they encountered the Jumpluff family - Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff.

While Skiploom, Jumpluff, and Hoppip were all Flying Pokémon like Vivillon, they had significant differences in their attribute combinations.

However, Yuga didn't want to miss any opportunities.

On the Second Island Heart Lake, not only did the Jumpluff family reside, but there were also Oddish, Gloom, and a few Bellossom and Vileplume, as well as the Beautifly and the Dustox.

These Beautifly and Dustox were the evolved forms of the Wurmple, Silcoon, and Cascoon that Yuga had tamed in the Petalburg Forest.

They coexisted harmoniously with the Grass-type Pokémon here due to the excellent living conditions, and their numbers had increased significantly.

As bottom tier Pokémon in the world of Pokémon, Beautifly and Dustox had a much faster rate of reproduction compared to typical Pokémon.

However, the Beautifly and Dustox didn't give up on getting closer to Vivillon. They flapped their wings and danced along the circular airflow, steadily rising along with it, resembling a pillar made of butterflies.

In fact, it wasn't surprising that these Beautifly and Dustox were so enthusiastic about Vivillon. Ever since Vivillon obtained countless scales and the Compound Eyes ability in the Petalburg Forest, it seemed to be highly favored by various butterfly-like Pokémon.

This favor wasn't about these butterfly-like Pokémon seeking to mate with Vivillon; it was a genuine respect and admiration they held for it.

Yuga couldn't fully understand how this change would benefit Vivillon, but Vivillon itself was quite unappreciative of the constant presence of these butterfly-like Pokémon flocking to it.
