-B29 Attack-

"All fighter squadrons assembled on Hawaii Island to immediately engage in fleet air defense."

A large formation of enemy B29 bombers is heading towards us.

The air force assembled in Hawaii must ascend to an altitude of 10,000 meters to intercept the attack.

All aircraft landed on the aircraft carrier anchored offshore and completed their replenishment.

The veteran Zero fighter was unable to reach an altitude of 10,000 meters, and was forced to give way to the newcomers, the Reppu and Hayabusa.

Veteran Zero fighter pilots puffed out their cheeks as they watched the new fighter planes take off with their engines roaring.

- Interceptor Squadron Leader's Plane "Reppu" by Lt. Colonel Fuchigami -

"Radio reception is good, all aircraft climb angle 30. Climb to altitude 9500!!"

A formation of 100 "Reppu" and "Hayabusa" planes will race across the sky to act as a shield to protect the fleet from major threats.

- B29 Commander's Plane, Lt. Colonel Jen's Plane -

"We're about to reach 150km from the Big Island! radarIt's about time to get caught up in that."

"It's okay if we are found. Zero can't get this high in the sky."

"Well, that's true. Our mission this time is to wipe out the enemy fleet and landing forces, and deliver supplies to the surviving units. Then we can send in reinforcements."

"Commander, do you really think Hawaii will last?"

"I don't know. However, it seems that the higher-ups have some sort of solution when they are wiped out."

"What is that?"

"I don't know either. Maybe someone high up at the Pentagon knows."

-Lieutenant Colonel Fuchigami-

"We'll soon meet the enemy. Keep an eye on your surroundings."

Fuchigami took the binoculars placed in the cockpit and looked around.

Suddenly, I saw an enemy formation flying with contrails on the left wing.

"Enemy! Left wing! All planes head toward us!"

All the fighter planes turn left and head toward the enemy formation.

- B29 Lt. Colonel Jen's machine -

"Many fighter planes on the left wing! They're Japs!"

"We're flying at an altitude of 10,000. That's not an altitude the Japs can reach!!"

The gun turret rotates, searching for the enemy.

"It's on the left wing after all! Not a friendly plane."

They finally noticed the US military, but it was too late.

The Reppu and Hayabusa opened fire on the ship with a barrage of 20mm and 12mm bullets from its flank.

Even the armored B29 was no match for this firepower.

The gun turrets on all four sides of the aircraft were stained with blood, and the engine caught fire.

The plane on the far left of the formation lost its engine and exploded into pieces.

The fuselages of three other planes also broke apart, their fuel ignited, and the bombs in one plane's bomb bay caught fire, causing the bombs to detonate, taking the surrounding B-29s with them as they fell.

However, there are many enemy planes.

As the barrage of bullets began to fall, the interception forces also began to suffer damage.

The enemy plane was shot down, and the plane that was climbing fell with holes riddled by its gun turrets.

Both sides suffered severe damage.
