CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
"This is it? you wanted to see a cave?" Levi asked his hand on his sword. "Yep. I have more interest in the people inside the cave. Everyone should be hiding out here." By that, I mean the other transmigrators. As soon as I entered the cave, I was slapped in the face with murals. Microwaves, helicopters, phones, satellites, doctors, and skyscrapers. I ran my fingers over the murals, which were sloppily drawn but labeled in English. "Can you read it?" Levi asked, tapping the stone walls as well. "Of course. You can't?" I asked, and Levi shook his head. "Well, it's English. Anyway, if it was me, I'd hide something on this Computer mural." I said tapping the mural of a computer, which was much larger and more ornate than the others. Also, in the center, someone had written, "Zaldelia". Noice. More fans?
But… nothing happened. Just a normal wall. Aw man, I was so sure. I gasped as a familiar pair of hands wrapped around my throat, and a knife was held up to my throat.
And familiar blonde hair and red eyes, too. Eden. The real Eden??
"Don't move, either of you, or she dies. Who are you? Why are you here?" Eden asked, frowning. Ah, the piece of work that had terrorized guards at the age of 8 was here. "My name's Cordelia. You know me, right?" I said, struggling uselessly against Eden's arm.
Levi was staring at me helplessly, frozen. "Eden. We need your help." I said, giving up on struggling and leaning my head back. Eden sighed and finally stepped back. "Fine. What is it?" I took a deep breath. "There's only one way you're here right now. Either Bog revived you, which I don't think is possible, or we're in a book right now. Not English rose. Something else. And you're also aware of this. Right?" I said, and Eden's brows scrunched.
