In The Forest (2)
My name is Azurl. In my previous world I was a part of large criminal organization known as Desperado. It's member is full of the low-classes that against the high-classes, but there's also a high-classes n Desperado and that is the leader himself.
After I had my first meal, I regain all my memories back. Now I know why I can be here in the another world, it's maybe because of that man magic. In my previous world, there's a powerful being that rule the world and the cause of calamity happened in earth, no one know his name but he is called as Dark Emperor. If that were me, I'd die of embarrassment because of that nickname pfft!
The Dark Emperor is the only one who can use spatial magic. Rumors said his magic able to link the dimensions.
As example, if Dimension A and Dimension B is linked by his magic, then the two dimensions will become one for a moment. At that short time, it possible that living things as well as inanimate objects can move to the opposite dimension.
Well if it is really that man who did this, for what reason he send me? I'm not even an important figure nor I am have an enormous magic, I just an ordinary boy who become criminal for some reason.
Other than that. After spend a month in this world, actually forest. I realized something important....
"I don't have any clothes to cover my body!"
Yes. I, Azurl, right now I only wear pants from leaves. Because I hunted every day for a month, my clothes ended up getting damaged.
"I've found a way out from this forest last week, but I'm afraid I can't go outside from this forest because of my clothes. What if they thought that I is a wild beast who similar to human?"
I came down from the tree branch.
"For now, let's look for something I can use to cover my body"
I looked for it but didn't found any, so I hunted wild animals whose skins could be used as clothing.
A few hours later, I collected animal skins and piled them in one place. I'm gonna use a creation magic I learned from my senior in Desperado to make clothing from the ingredient I collected.
[Creation Magic: Clothes]
A magic circle is formed above the pile of animal skins, then as usual it's shattered and was absorbed by the object. After pieces of magic circle are absorbed, the pile of animal skins turned into a pair of clothes.
I put in on and looked into the mirror that I made using Creation Magic.
"Hmm, don't I look cool?"
I have a pitch black hair and a good face, no wonder the girl members were attracted to me when I was in Desperado. Come to think of it, why did I ignore them that time eh, I was to focused on my goal to get my revenge for my mother's death. Those filthy high-classes....
It's useless to think of it now, I hope mother can be happy in the heaven.
"I guess it's time to go outside"
I head east which is closer to the forest entrance.
....
Near the eastern entrance. A fight broke out between a group of young men and a large green creature. It is known as Ogre, a tier up to the goblins.
The Ogre swung it sword vertically.
"Watch out!"
They easily dodged the slow attack of Ogre. But, even though it is slow, but it has a destructive power. It attack made a cracks in the ground.
If only that attack hit one of them, they might die right away.
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
The Ogre mad because his attack didn't hit anyone.
"Zen, cut it right leg now!"
A young girl with silver hair commanded her friend to launch an attack.
Zen, a boy with same hair color nodded. He runs toward the Ogre so quickly with a sword in his hands. Just as the girl commanded him, he swung his sword to Ogre's right leg.
"Hyaa!"
However, it's not as easy as they think. The Ogre block the sword with his palm.
"Ghh!"
Not only was his large body superior, but his strength was no match for the youths either. After the Ogre blocked Zen's sword, it other hand hit Zen hard. Luckily for Zen, his friend protected him with defensive magic right before the Ogre's attack hit him.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, thanks to you, Tereza"
Tereza, a girl who skilled in defensive and healing magic. Her talent in defensive magic was categorized as a top level regardless of her young age.
"It's nothing. You are just weak, that's all"
"Ahahaha..."
She was a girl with high self-esteem, so it was only natural that her character was like that. Born as a duke's daughter, with great magic power and a beautiful face. Plus, she was the prince's fiancé.
"Tereza, aren't you being too harsh on the prince?"
"I-I am not!" Tereza's face flushed. To hide her embarrassment she spoke nonsense, "You are the one who being rude to me, Aria!"
"Eh....?"
Aria, she's the silver haired girl who commanded Zen, the Prince to attack the Ogre before. She's the count's daughter who have an enormous magic power. She specialized at offensive magic, opposite to Tereza.
Three of them is a student from Magic Academy. Currently, they were completing the task of killing and bringing back the ogre's soul crystal.
"The two of you can still joke around in a situation like this...."
Zen stood up, holding his sword tightly. He pointed his sword against the ogre.
"We should end this quickly. I'm hungry" said Zen.
"You're the one who's joking here" said the two girls.
Zen was speechless to their compactness of teasing him.
He's smiled, then he cast a spell.
"I call thee the mighty red who never perish, enchant my sword, [Layer of Fire]"
His sword was enveloped in fiery flames, slowly creeping up his wrist. After that, the iron sword turned into a fire sword.
"Aria, Tereza, support me"
"Hmph- Why should I, Tereza-"
"Yes, your highness"
Zen smiled awkwardly at his partner's response.
"Don't be too formal with me Aria, as a fellow magic academy student. Our rank is determined by strength. In terms of magic, you are better than me so..."
"I understood- I mean, okay Zen"
Zen smiled, he was ready to launch attack.
"And Tereza..."
"Huh?"
He dashed to the Ogre. "You're really cute"
"Wha?!"

A horizontal flash appeared for a while on the Ogre's neck, then a few second later it head separated from his body.
"Subjugation completed!"
