"And you are just a '13 years old' Magician…" Hinako pointed at Shinji and her mouth turned into 'O' form

"So you are hunted by Dead Apostle?" Shinji puzzled "Why?"

"They are interested in my form of immortality" Hinako explained "to be precise my biology"

"Ahh…I understand" Shinji nodded in understanding

The common goal of all Dead Apostles is to achieve perfect immortality, that does not rely on the ingestion of blood. Even though they are immortal, their immortality was flawed because they need to suck blood periodically, if not they die and will turn into ash.

Hinako as a type of incarnated Nature spirit/Elemental will live as long she not out of energy. It was type of immortality that in sense superior to the Dead Apostle. Hinako can also suck blood but it was totally optional for her, she also didn't have any Vampire Impulse.

"So how they can found you?" Shinji asked, "isn't your kind was superior in terms of blending with nature??"

"...they are trapping me in this city. If you didn't save me I already become their lab rat for sure"

"Isn't you supposed to have a superior strength? Why the heck are you losing?"

"I can beat and injure them but I lack the means to quickly end them" Hinako explained "It turned into a battle of endurance, thanks to their superior number I lose. My energy afterall limited while for them as long they can take a breath the time will be turned back leaving them unharmed"

"Yes, between potentially betrayed by magician and captured by a bunch of Dead Apostle you can guess which one is preferable"

"...okay, that makes sense" Hinako accepted "There is a small forest at the south from here, that will give a boost to my fighting strength, how about you?"

Shinji grinned "As long we are far from civilization, I can go all out!"
