Three lives ruined

Aurora sat before Sebastian, her eyes downcast, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. She had known she shouldn't have wandered into the forest at night, but her fear of losing her husband had gotten the better of her. Now, facing Sebastian's stern gaze, she felt a pang of guilt, though regret doesn't seem to be reflecting in her eyes.

Sebastian sighed heavily, his frustration evident, but as he looked at Aurora, his expression softened. She looked so small and vulnerable, her usually bright eyes dimmed with remorse. He couldn't stay angry with his little wife for long.

"Aurora," he began, his voice gentle yet firm, "you know better than to go into the forest alone at night. It's dangerous out there, especially with that thing roaming around all night."

Aurora bit her lip, fighting back tears. She knew he was right, but she hadn't expected him to scold her like this. She nodded silently, unable to meet his gaze.
