(Chapter 1)Transition to a New World: The Villain System
In a senior year classroom, the sky dawned gray and heavy. Thick drops of rain pelted the windows, producing a steady rhythm that blended with the students' murmurings. The wind blew fiercely, causing the trees outside to shake vigorously. The room was so dimly lit that the lights needed to be on for students to see their notebooks.
Suddenly, a powerful boom echoed, and a bright flash illuminated the room. Some students saw a deep purple lightning strike the building, instantly causing a blackout and leaving the room in total darkness.
Unknown to all, a lightning bolt of the same deep purple, almost black shade, slid across the school's walls, as if searching for something. Eventually, it found what it was looking for in a sophomore classroom. The bolt quickly surged across the floor towards a young man with brown hair and eyes, admired for his beauty at school.
"Ahhh!" A sudden scream echoed, followed by frightened exclamations, especially from the girls.
Light Yagami was abruptly struck by the lightning, fainting as he hit his head on the desk.
Minutes later, with the lights restored, students discussed the sudden blackout and the flash they'd witnessed.
When Light woke up, something within him had changed. Though confused, he tried to reconcile his memories: one moment he was in his bed wearing only his Batman underwear, and the next, he was in the classroom.
In a blink of an eye, memories flooded his consciousness, memories of a 17-year-old named Light Yagami. Looking around and piecing together the memories merging within him, Light recognized he was in a classroom surrounded by classmates. There were no teachers in the room at that time.
It wasn't long before the teacher returned. Students resumed their usual routine, chatting and working on their tasks.
However, Light felt there was more to the situation. He was restless, not uncomfortably so, but like someone waking from a long, deep sleep. There was a feeling of rest, but also renewed energy.
As he was still trying to grasp what was happening, an unusual phenomenon appeared. A floating object with white inscriptions on a semi-transparent red background and a serpent's eye in the bottom right corner appeared in his vision, moving as he moved his head.
"Hologram?" He murmured to himself.

Light blinked, but the floating screen still remained in front of his eyes. 'What's happening?'
As he observed, numbers appeared above the heads of the students in the room, soon after a small four-leaf clover.
'Is this some kind of luck index?'
Soon, he noticed that some had values higher than 50. This caught his attention since most didn't exceed that number.

A cold voice echoed in his mind. Light looked around, realizing only he seemed to have heard.
Discreetly, he lowered his head onto the desk, pretending to nap, while the teacher began the lesson.
In his mind, he wondered: 'Why did this happen?'
Up to that point, he hadn't received any desired answer.
Light sighed.
Raising his head, he noticed that some classmates had four-leaf clovers of different shades than the rest. Most displayed red clovers.
'Is the ranking based on colors? Does each color reflect the person's level of luck?' He pondered, trying to understand what was going on.

Then, Light spoke up: "Miss, may I go to the restroom?"
The teacher turned and, upon looking at him, gave a friendly smile: "Of course, go ahead."
Being a dedicated student with high grades, Light was aware that the teacher held him in high regard, even without seeing an overt reaction from her.
With a nod, Light stood up, catching the attention of a few classmates.
