As the morning sun graced the training grounds, Jacob found himself in the training grounds, engaged in a solo sparring session. His upper body exposed to the cool morning air, displaying his sculpted physique to the awakening world as a form of testament to his dedication in his journey. Engrossed in his training routine, he delved deep into exploring his newfound skill, a thrilling journey that would unravel his potential. And believe me, it was incredible.

Drawing inspiration from the principles of Haki from "One Piece" and the essence of Chakra from "Naruto," Jacob honed his mastery over mana. He focused on infusing mana into specific body parts, enhancing their strength and defence. When directed to his feet, the mana granted him enhanced speed, not quite matching a vampire's swiftness but coming remarkably close. Infused into his eyes, they radiated a cosmic hue, granting Jacob the ability to perceive the world in slow motion, capturing every intricate detail. 

This mastery allowed him to tap into an array of enhancements, elevating his abilities to a new level, to bad his mana is insufficient to support him for a long duration, is only for a short burst.

Minutes drifted by,Jacob, having grown accustomed to the alterations brought by manipulating his mana, he settled himself and pondered the problem from yesterday—the exploration spell. Today, after his mana experiments, a spark of inspiration ignited. He calmed his mind, closed his eyes, and initiated a unique approach.

With him as the centre, he projected a wave of mana outward from himself, and with the help of his mana sensing skill he got a while back, he sensed everything his mana wave came in contact with. It was as if he gained a peculiar sense, akin to how Daredevil (from marvel) perceived his surroundings through sound waves. In a similar manner, Jacob began piecing together a picture of his environment through the feedback received from his mana wave.

The rush of discovery tingled through Jacob's senses as he chuckled with excitement. "This is so cool," he muttered, awestruck by the immersive sensation of perceiving everything around him through his mana wave, his mana wave brushing against everything it encountered. He felt like an invisible net, capturing every detail within its reach. It was as though nothing could escape his radar unless, of course, someone managed to skillfully evade his sweeping mana sense.

He continued to hone this newfound skill, marveling at its scope and potential. With each pulse of mana, he sensed the extent of his surroundings, gaining a comprehensive overview akin to viewing the world through a magical lens. Yet,

amidst this exhilaration, he sensed the boundaries of his abilities. There was an inkling that more lay beyond, waiting for him to tap into it. However, for now, it seemed that his mana hadn't reached the level necessary to grant him extraordinary abilities like sensing life form energy and the like.

As the morning sun illuminated the space around him, Jacob delved deeper into his exploration, eager to uncover the full potential of this intriguing skill. His excitement surged with each new discovery, leaving him wondering about the possibilities that lay ahead, waiting for his mana to reach new heights.

In the midst of Jacob's exploration through his mana wave, his mana wave came in contact with a person, he got the wave picture.

"Ooo…who's that?!" He saw that around this person, there were ridiculously insane energy waves just emitting to the surrounding, this person resembled a walking energy source—a blazing hotspot among the morning calmness.

Just as Jacob was captivated by this discovery, a sweet voice interrupted his thoughts. It was Hope.

"Hey, what are you doing this early in the morning?" Hope asked, catching Jacob off guard.

"Oh.. I guess it makes sense, she's The tribrid " Jacob thought the moment he saw hope. But on the surface he replied calmly "training, but I am done" He said as he got up. "what are you doing?" He asked

"I just came back from running, I'm also done" Hope said 

Jacob looked at her strangely and said "But you're a tribrid, why would you go for a run?"

Hope laughed and said "it helps get my head straight, plus it helps me feel normal"

"you keep saying normal this, normal that, don't you know normal is boring" Jacob replied 

"Well, normal doesn't get people around you and those you care died" Retorted Hope replied with a hint of melancholy.

"Everyone dies at some point, Hope. That's how it is. Whether you are a supernatural or a normal human, you die." Jacob responded, a touch of pragmatism in his voice.

Hope paused, taken aback by his perspective. Changing the subject, she asked, "Would you like to be my sparring partner?"

"Yeah, let's do that some other time" Jacob agreed as the two walked back to the school, their conversation blending with the morning's gentle breeze. Evident that their conversation had shifted the mood, their bond growing stronger with every exchanged laugh.

In the late morning, Dr. Saltzman called for a meeting in the assembly hall, outlining his plan to form an honor council comprising a vampire, a werewolf, and a witch to manage student affairs.

Seated next to Penelope, Jacob greeted her with a smile. "Morning, Penelope Park," he offered warmly.

Penelope, however, seemed disinterested, replying nonchalantly, "Morning, superboy."

"So are you gonna run for the election?" Asked Jacob 

"Why, you wanna vote for me" Asked penelope, Still avoiding Jacob eye contact 

"Nope, I have a feeling if you become a counsellor, you'll make my life miserable. "Jacob said 

"Aa.. I would never." Said Penelope as looked at Jacob with a smirk on her lips. 

Jacob looked at Penelope smirking momentarily, not knowing what he was thinking. Penelope on the other noticed Jacob's reaction then with incredible speed she turned her head back to front, remembering what happened last time she tried to act up to Jacob.

Jacob snapped back, he noticed Penelope's reaction speed, he laughed. 

He asked with his own smirk on his face "is the once and only evil temptress scared of me now?"

You wish, I don't get scared that easily " Retorted Penelope as she got up "see you Superboy " she added, leaving Jacob. 

Jacob just smiled, then he went to other students, getting to know them and stuff.

Time passed by and events unfolded throughout the day. The new representatives were selected (not like Jacob cared), Landon was beaten badly by Jed (not like

Jacob cared), Lizzie was having a witch episode after not winning the election (not like Jacob cared). Dr Saltzman and his sidekick Dorian collided with another monster, a dryad that's also after the knife (still, not like Jacob cared), Hope called Dr Saltzman and said she wanted a seat on the council, and weirdly she also added that Jacob should have a seat also since both she and him are in a unique status hence no one can represent their interests but themselves (Jacob didn't know this, so he still didn't care).

Later that evening, as Jacob sat outside on a bench, absorbing the tranquility of the night, Hope approached him.

"What's up Hope" Jacob greeted Hope since they didn't talk for the rest of the day.

"Hey Jacob, so I talked to Dr Saltzman about us having a seat at the student honour council and he agreed, we should go, it's been held as we speak." said Hope.

"huh?..." Jacob was surprised, "what's wrong with this girl, why would you put me in the forefront of this mess, now it would be embarrassing when I want to run away if things get messy " He complained inwards, looking at Hope a little resentful. 

"What's wrong, what's the matter?" Asked hope noticing Jacob weird look

"Who told you I wanna be a representative, isn't it good to just be a student?" Jacob replied aggravated

"Oo, so you don't wanna do anything for the school, you just wanna go around flirting with girls all day long, right?" Hope retorted sharply, catching Jacob off guard.

"Me?. I….." Just as Jacob was about to deny the accusation when a suspicion crossed his mind. "Wait a minute, was she spying on me?" he pondered.

"So, what if I intend to do that, are you getting jealous, Hope Mikaelson?" he challenged, trying to mask his surprise with a playful tone.

Hope laughed sarcastically. "Me, getting jealous? Stop talking nonsense. You're a representative, and that's it. Now let's go to the meeting, unless you wanna be the main topic today," she pressed, her voice carrying an edge.

Jacob then reacted " are you threatening me Hope" He asked and the answer he got was Hope's back as she was walking away. Now it was Jacob's turn to get frustrated. After a little while, Jacob sighed, "already fine " He followed hope.
