Leaves crushing.

Multiple times.

Increasing of crushing sound.

Sensing people walking towards him, Viz opened his eyes from meditation.

"You walk loud Filavandrel."

"Wanted to let you know we are here, vatt'ghern."

Viz then looked at Ida. Unlike the time in Elven camp, Ida was donned in Elven armor.

And it didn't diminish her beauty a slight bit, rather she was giving me a vibe like… Goddess Artemis.

"Greetings sage Ida."

"ceádmil Rhon."

Viz had an impulse to call her wife and flirt with her, but he knew when to control his lower leg.

"You guys took your sweet time reaching here."

"without teleportation, this is fast as we could, vatt'ghern."

Viz understands. Mages were sensitive to chaos, and a teleportation will produce a change in chaos which thus alerting Kitsu, if she sensed it.

As for why, they didn't take short teleportations, because if traced back, it could be detrimental to elves.

This wasn't a good time for Elves of the northern realms.

"So what are we going to do to Kitsu?" Viz asked.

"Our goal is to capture Kitsu and take her back to camp." Filavandrel said.

"I'll try to see if the mutation could be reversed." Ida said.

In other-words, she would be an excellent asset to Blue mountain elves, increasing their power.

Whether they could keep Kitsu held with them, only time could tell.

And it is also a good ending for Kitsu than for being used by Tetra Gilcrest.

Then we searched for the Elven ruins nearby. It took time and soon we found an elven statue, and Viz knew they found the place, but this time it wasn't snowing here. It was sunny.

"A flawless illusion," Ida said. "stand back."

She walked forward, lifting her hands as her palm illuminated the white light as she cast a spell, "%#^$$^%%*"

Her spell was in elder speech.

BOOM!

An enormous blast originating from Ida's hands as she clasped her both hands together, blew away the huge illusion which shrouded their eyes.

Wind flew.

A vast valley with Elven ruins appeared in front of them!

*crumble*

Suddenly, the rock under Ida's feet broke up.

The drop below Ida's was deep, sure to kill Ida if she touches the ground.

As soon as she fell, Viz caught her hand and pulled her. He was already ready, because he remembered tetra nearly fell off from here in witcher's web series.

"Beauty, it seems I saved your life. How about repaying with your body?" Viz said as he grinned.

"With that rudeness, praise, I saved your life by not killing you right now." Ida narrowed her eyes

Viz turned his face and blew a whistle.

Then they walked towards the Ruins.

"To maintain such a huge illusion, Kitsu seems more powerful than I imagined," Ida said.

Vigilance in her heart was raised to another level.

"Kitsu!" Viz found a red-haired, white skin toned naked woman standing on the huge pillar of the Elven ruins.

"#@%#$^@#^#^@#$%!" Kitsu was shouting in an Ellylon dialect.

"What is she saying?" [Viz]

"Stay away from our den," Filavandrel walked in front of both Viz and Ida.

"@#$%#$%#$@@#$%!" [Filavandrel]

"#$%@$%$#%@#$%#!" [Kitsu]

"*&&^#^@%$%#@%@!" [Filavandrel]

"@$#@$@#@$@$%$%!" [Kitsu]

Not understanding a slight bit of their words, Viz looked at Ida.

"Filavandrel is persuading her to stop her madness and follow us back to blue mountain, but his coaxing fails to carry its effect." [Ida]

"Careful, Rhon." Ida forewarned as soon as she noticed a mutated basilisk crawling up the pillar.

"I know." [Viz]

"Damn it! She isn't listening!" Filavandrel moved back and pulled his bow.

SCREEEEEEEEEE!!!

The basilisk roared towards Viz's group before it flew towards them.

BOOM!

the ground shook as it landed, near enough to make Viz, Ida, Filavandrel, to jump aside.

Then the beast opened its mouth and roared.

SCREEEEEEEE!!!

But this time, along with the roar, it shot a green poisonous gas.

Ida dodged and Filavandrel shot an arrow as they moved farther away.

The arrow stuck in beast's chest.

Viz, on the other hand, moved towards the beast.

"Aard!"

Telekinetic blast was powerful enough to blow away the poisonous gas.

Stunning the beast for a second.

At this time, Viz was already close to it… close enough as his fist hit the beast's lower jaw.

BAM!!

The force made the beast lift its upper body and stagger back.

And made its mind dizzy.

"#@%$@#$%#!"

The next second, Ida has finished casting a spell.

Roots grew as from the ground, strangling the beast immobile.

The beast struggled to break free.

As Viz's group was ready to slay the beast, Kitsu appeared in front of the beast.

"No!"

Kitsu threw a telekinetic blasted away Viz and Filavandrel.

Ida protected herself by creating a telekinetic semi spherical shield.

Filavandrel crashed onto the walls

Viz crashed into the pillar.

"Nivis Casus!" Kitsu lifted her hands up.

*Ground rumbling*

Large mass of snow from the mountains tumbled down.

It was an avalanche.

Ida cast the telekinetic shield to protect herself.

Filavandrel hid behind the sturdy walls.

But what they didn't know was this Avalanch was Kitsu's illusion.

it covered their senses, making them blind.

Kitsu took this opportunity. She didn't run away. Instead, she came to Ida before her palm caught Ida's forehead.

Ida's eyes blurred, and she fell into Kitsu's illusion and the first thing she did was to release the beast.

And Kitsu also put Filavandrel into the illusion.

When Viz came to his sense, he could see Filavandrel pointing the arrow towards him.

Ida carrying the fire ball in her hands while facing towards him.

The beast was free, up in the air, above his head, ready to fire a poisonous gas towards him.

"can we talk out situation?"

"te tearth vhóel?"

"Nope, it not that I fear death… it will be a bit hard to catch you all alive with the beast in the air, and the present situation might force me to kill it."

"thaesse! aenye!" [Kitsu]

Viz dodged the arrow, which was pointed towards his head, and before the poisonous gas hit him, he created an Aard shield around him.

But Ida lit the poisonous gas with her fire magic, changing the poisonous roar into a fire roar powerful enough to cause cracks into the Aard's shield.

However, suddenly startling everyone.

Something sharp pierced through Viz's chest.

On looking down, Viz found it was a dark, sharp clawed hand.

Turning his neck back, Viz said, "you finally made your move, maid Lanna."
