Flower Of Love

It has been a few days after the last encounter between Vanylla and Mars at the amusement park. Ever since that time, He always sent a flower bouquet to the Wright mansion for Vanylla Wright. Those beautiful bouquets come with the same special courier every day.

Today was the fourth day that Mars sent the bouquet to her. He did not put any card or identity into it, but there was a hunch in Vanylla's mind who the sender was. She knows they are from Mars King, the guy who slept with her a  week ago and bullied her all this time. Vanylla feels like she's being stalked everywhere. And Mars did put up his spies to follow  Vanylla around.

Vanylla made her best effort to stay away from him. She did not go out of the house unless there were important things. But the flowers things have shut her. Without thinking about the risk, Mars kept sending flowers shamelessly. Vanylla might hide the flowers well from her family for the last few days, but the truth would come out one day.

She loved flowers, but the fact that the man who took her virginity sent her flower bouquet made her in a dilemma. She hated him, so there was supposed no reason for her to feel flustered by each flower he's been sent. After all, Mars was not a romantic guy, and he was known to be a ruthless but successful businessman.

The reputation of Mars has to reach  Vanylla's.  What Mars looks like in running his business, a little bit  Jared's even told her. However, Jared didn't tell her the main root of their family fight.

On the fifth day, Jared, who was on his way to the parking spot in front of the mansion, meets the flower's delivery man.

"Who's it for?" Jared asked the delivery guy

"Miss Vanylla Wright, sir" Jared frowned and turned his head to see the second floor of the mansion from he stood. He took it and checked the rose bouquet.

"Who sent it?" the guy shook his head.

"He did not mention his name sir, but we have to deliver this every day," he answered. Jared kept frowning

"since when?"

"Today is the fifth" as far as he remembered, Vanylla never seemed to have any male friends. Jared said thank you so the delivery guy could leave. He'd been curious by surrounding him, and yesterday he found someone follows Vanylla to her work at the orphanage, and today someone sent her flower.

"something fishy," he muttered before going inside to give the flower to Vanylla.

Vanylla just had her breakfast and got ready to go to the orphanage. She almost finished the project, and the orphanage would build the dorm next week.

"I did not know you have secret admirer Butterfly" Jared gave her the flower while smiling. Vanylla, a bit startled with her brother, gave the bouquet. Today was the fifth day. Vanylla just smiled at her brother.

"And do not put any cards! Jared added. He is curious and continues to demand answers from Vanylla. Jared's still waiting, but  Vanylla didn't tell him anything.

"Maybe just an old friend, I don't know." Vanylla tried to reassure him and smiling after. Jared smiled too.

"do you have a boyfriend Butterfly?" Jared asked while looking at Vanylla's eyes intensely. Jared also responded with a nod and a smile -and a smile. After a few seconds of silence, Jared continues to interrogate Vanylla.

"No!" she answered spontaneously. Jared nodded

"Apparently he knew what you like, white and dark red roses, is that coincidence?" Vanylla started to get nervous. She did not want Jared to suspect anything, especially to Mars. Vanylla could not imagine how mad he would be if he knew about them. Vanylla could see how Jared hated Mars when they were at the amusement park last week.

"eehhm m-maybe," Jared kept smiling.

"Butterfly, I don't mind you have a boyfriend but I have to know him first, you understand right?" Vanylla nodded.

"I don't have any boyfriend, trust me" Jared nodded and hugged her. He kissed her forehead before he left. Vanylla kept holding the bouquet with a frowning head. What should I do to these flowers? Vanylla asked herself. She walked to her working room and put the flower along with the last four bouquets Mars sent before.

"what does he want, why can't he just leave me alone" Vanylla kept mumbling to herself. She got back to the dining room and took her bag to go. Today she did not want to use any car, so she asked the driver to take her to the subway station. She planned to go to the downtown library before going to the orphanage.

The driver took her to the station. She would use the Los Angeles Metro Rail to get to the library. Vanylla used a simple dress with a white shirt of pattern half-calf skirt. Her brown hair was losing and smoothing. She got into the subway without any problem, but she could not get a seat because it was a bit congested during working hours.

She stood among a few guys while holding a pole. Suddenly one guy put his hand on the same bar above her head and cover her body from other passengers who almost squeezed her. He protected her from any passenger's bumps. Another of his hand was hanging on the head handle. But as the man draws closer to her body, Vanylla smells the perfume she once smelled, and she tries to turn her head away.

He was standing behind Vanylla, so she assumed it was just another passenger. But when he got so close, and Vanylla smell a familiar perfume, she tried to turn away her head. She was shocked to see the man smiling at her.

Mars was standing just right behind her. Since when was he here? He winked and smiled at her shocking face while kept protecting her from other passengers. Vanylla's heartbeat started beating fast and irregularly.

"What are you doing here?" she asked half-whispered. Mars brought his face up to Vanylla's ear, smirking.
