Always Be Around You

WRIGHT MANSION

Jared almost got his car into his mansion this afternoon when he spotted something suspicious around his mansion's way to the gate. The same black SUV parked for a few days already. Jared pretended not to pay attention and got into his mansion as usual. 

However, after parking, he walked to the back door gate of his mansion. He climbed his gate and went to the SUV from behind. He took a gun from his waist and held it while sauntered approaching the car. After he could reach the front door, he opened the door immediately and grabbed the suited man inside. He put the gun on his side forehead.

"Who you, and what are you doing here?" Jared shouted at him. He still did not answer him. 

"Answer me or I blow your head!"

"I-I was just a bodyguard!" Jared frowned.

"Who do you work for? ANSWER ME!" now, Jared put his revolver on the man's chin. He still not answered.

"Don't fuck with me, WHO DO YOU WORK FOR?" Jared yelled for more.

"K-King ... I am Mars King's bodyguard!" Jared started confusing

"Why he's spying on my house?"

"I am protecting miss Wright, Mr. King asked me to watch and protect her." 

"Huh, what for?"

"I don't know sir!" Jared looked pissed and pulled the man's collar onto him.

"Tell King to fuck off from my sister or I will definitely shoot his head this time!" Jared let go of the man and slammed the car's door. But he kept pointing his gun at the guy.

"Now leave!" the guy saw him the last time before driving away. Jared could not believe what he heard. Why Mars King after his sister. He got inside the mansion and looked for Vanylla. But she did not come home yet. 

So he went to seek the flowers that someone had sent for these few days. He found them in Vanylla's working room. He checked each bouquet to see if there any sign of King. But he could not find anything. Now he felt worried about his sister. 

He always tried to put away Vanylla from his war with Mars. Suddenly he remembered when Mars visited him in his office after he lost from the IFAF project. He would find something precious in Jared's life, crushed it, and made him living in hell. Was this the revenge Mars spoke about? Shit, please, not Vanylla. He's going crazy if that's happening.

When he was thinking about Mars King, Vanylla arrived home. Jared immediately ran to check her up.

"Are you okay Butterfly?" Jared asked worriedly

"Yes, what happened, Jared?" Jared suddenly hugged Vanylla. It made her confused.

"I need to ask a few things to you!" Vanylla nodded. Jared held her hand and made her sit on a sofa. 

"Tell me the truth Butterfly, who sent you the flowers?" Vanylla's eyes widened. 

"W-What do you mean?" she started stuttering.

"Was it ... Mars King, who send you the flowers?" Vanylla lower her sight and smiled a little

"I don't know who the sender was, they did not have any cards." Jared nodded. He caressed Vanylla's hair.

"You know you can tell me anything, I won't be mad." Vanylla was getting doubt about her mind. She wanted to tell the truth, but she was afraid of the wrath of her family towards King.

"Was there any possibility that they could be from him?" Jared had not given up yet. Vanylla only stared at him.

"Butterfly, he's a dangerous man, he's heartless, please stay away from him, I don't want you to get hurt!" 

'He already did Jared!'  Vanylla's mind wanted to shout it out loud. She just gulped nervously.

"He loved playing with people's mind, he destroyed many people already. Therefore I sheild you from him." Jared's eyes looked so worried and sad. Vanylla nodded with her crushed heart. 

"I'll be okay, Jared." Vanylla embraced her brother, and Jared kissed her top head a few times. Vanylla wanted to cry and tell him everything, but she was even ashamed of herself. 

After that, Vanylla went inside her room and sat on the bed, thinking about what happened today. Mars King was a dangerous guy, but he did not look like that today. Or maybe it was just his disguise.

KING ENTERPRISE

"Where have you been?" Caleb asked Mars when he wanted to enter his room. Mars just released his long breath and opened the door.

"Somewhere!" Mars answered him calmly.

"You ditched the meeting, now they're upset!" Caleb followed him inside while whining.

"Can't you entertain them?"

"Mars, I'm not the CEO!" Mars took a bottle of mineral water from his mini freezer and drank it.

"Just asked them to go to the club!" Mars faced Caleb while sitting on the edge of his desk. After a minute, his cellphone rang. He picked it up.

"Sir, Jared Wright found that I was spying and protecting miss Vanylla Wright, he pointed the gun at me and chased me away." Mars released his hard breath, hearing the report.

"What did he say?"

"He said for you to stay away from his sister, sir!" the bodyguard added. Mars closed his eyes and quiet for a few seconds.

"Now what should I do sir?" he asked again.

"Just get back here, did Vanylla back yet?"

"Yes sir, she just arrived with her driver!" Mars nodded

"Okay, just get back here!" Mars cut the call and drank his water again. Caleb folded his hand and shook his head. He could not believe that his boss was still following the girl.

"What is happening Mars?"

"Jared found that I ordered a bodyguard for his sister!" 

"See, this is just the beginning, if he found what you have done to her, he's gonna strike us back!"

"He always strikes us, what's the difference?" Caleb could not believe that Mars still took this matter easily

"This time was his sister, you ruined her, the Wright would get to us into gangster's war."

"I don't ruin her, I made love to her!" Caleb shook his head and chuckled cynically.

"You don't love her, why'd you make love to her, that's nonsense!" Mars folded him both hands now.

"Never underestimate this situation, Mars. We lost few of our territory at west already. If this war happened we'll be lost!" Mars kept denying his conscious mind.

"So what do you want me to do?" Mars asked him

"Stay away from her!" Mars chuckled.

"I can't!" Caleb frowned at him.

"Why?" Mars massage his nostril and quiet for a few minutes

"I am addicted to her!"
