One Year

"Do I need to constantly supply it with chakra to use it?" Gaara asked while being cautious of yashamaru, despite yashamaru being close to Gaara, it wouldn't be far fetched to say that they were all still under Rasa

"Very little I believe, it only needs to recognize your chakra signature"

'I see'

"And then what"

Yashamaru chuckled and said

"Gaara figure that part of it out yourself"

The next day was the day Gaara was required to enter the academy and start learning as a student of the academy

Typically following that was basically basics of Shinobi training, physical fitness, chakra theory, basic ninja techniques like taijutsu, kenjutsu and ninjutsu.

On the theory aspect they also learn about the Shinobi history, teamwork, co-operation, philosophy of a shinobi life and academic subjects.

Students who were at the Shinobi academy as below genin also needed to spend at least a minimum of a year in the academy on special conditions to a maximum of 3 years to fully graduate from being under a genin to a full fledged genin.

Gaara had thought this through but there was a problem, when he clocked six years old was when his father would send yashamaru after him, in attempt to lure the one tails out

And after that was purely chaos, he knew he had to keep his emotions in check on that day so as to disappoint his father, but he also needed to prepare for the worst and preparation in this scenario is learning all he could from the academy

Luckily enough for Gaara, their sensei was Baki, the right hand to the kazekage, which took Gaara in and saw him in a different light.

Gaara emphasized on learning all practical aspects of the Shinobi training which Baki concurred to teaching him.

Following the next one year Gaara has spent his time training his physical self day and night, not efficient but effective, learning to channel chakra while performing hand signs, learning taijutsu was the most difficult because he had no sparing partner and baki could not exactly make himself available always to spar with him.

Thereby leading Gaara to use the only method he thought of, using shukaku.

Using shukaku led him to dicover that shukaku had seen many fight and had a vivid memory and understanding of different Shinobi fighting styles and techniques.

And So he make a decision where he entered the seal of the tailed beast with his consciousness, which was now rather easy than before and not needing to be weak, vulnerable, or asleep.

Shukaku which was now more acquainted with Gaara would assist him in training from time to time by making clones of Gaara in his consciousness where Gaara would fight with them and shukaku was the one in control.

Gaara could also make clones of himself with sand but that was not efficient, firstly they were also him, so improvement with be there but slowly, so it was better for Gaara to seek Shukaku's help as he had knowledge of shinobi's even Gaara could not think of, thereby making Gaara fight different Shinobi clones and grow faster at his own pace in taijutsu.
